Zamani's in North West Leicestershire

our whole experience from start to finish was absolutely amazing. A very warm welcome awaited me and my friend for our Sunday lunch today. We were greeted with a smile and shown to our table immediately upon entering the restaurant. Menus were already laid out for us and we were given just the right amount of time to make our choices before the waitress returned to take our drinks order which was served promptly. The staff was friendly and efficient and the atmosphere very relaxed, we didn't feel rushed at all. The lovely owner took the time to come and speak to us about the food and we saw him conversing with other diners throughout our experience and this added that extra personal touch! I ordered beef roast dinner which I have been CRAVING for weeks. It really hit the spot!! Beef melted in mouth,proper home made yorkies!!! oh my gosh YES!! gorgeous crispy edge, soft in the middle roasties!! a dish of delicious cauliflower cheese which honestly did taste homemade and was phwoar!! New spuds, broccoli, peas etc. all generous portions, I was really full but I forced myself to have a pudding!! . I have dined here a couple of times before and had a couple of cocktail nights which have all been enjoyable but today was extra special! The other diners were all as happy and relaxed as we were. We got chatting to some and learned some fascinating history of the local area and Rushdens Yard in particular. We left the restaurant feeling very full but uplifted and like we've had a real treat and the added bonus is, it doesn't break the bank!! I was surprised by the prices, it's honestly really good value for money.Thank you Mr Zamani and team for your wonderful hospitality and delicious food. We've had a wonderfultime and can't wait to return

Fabulous time at Zamanis last night! My friend was visiting from out of town - the food was amazing and the service was excellent! So friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend

What a great little restaurant, this place is a little gem in Ashby. We managed to get a table for our alphabet date night which ended up as I for Italian, we wanted to stay clear of pizza so we chose other items on the menu. My girl had the rigatoni and I had king prawn and chorizo, both were good portions and served at a reasonable time from ordering. There was a slight draft when the door was open but I did get an apology from the staff for this, I didn't mind to much though. Overall we had a great experience and would be happy to go back, they just need to make sure the premium beers are fresh, that's what lost them a star. Please if you like my review pop me a helpful thumbs up 👍

Nice food! But oh so noisy, we could hardly hear each other. Needs screens around tables to help reflect it. Staff were great

This is the second time I have been to this restaurant and have enjoyed the food on both occasions, you are welcomed by very friendly and helpful staff, the restaurant is very nice and comfortable place to eat with a great choice of food.

We've heard so much positivity about Zamani's since we moved here a year ago, and we finally got a chance to try it out tonight for my wife's birthday.The meal was amazing (And huge!!!) and we were really impressed at how accommodating they were due to our various intolerances. Not many places would be so adaptable on these kinds of situations. Its especially tough to find an Italian that caters for dairy intolerances.The staff, Georgia and Alex, were exceptional. Very friendly and never too busy to answer an questions or have a laugh.We would definitely visit again!

Food is absolutely fantastic!! Plenty of choice on the menu!! Lunch deal is great value for money best meal I've had out in a long time
