Gucci man works there very nice lad great at wiring humble bloke and makes some cracking chips

The bad: Fish was very oily. Chips were stodgy and tasted like they weren't fried/cooked properly. I ordered a "Pukka" branded steak and kidney pie, but I got something else of dramatically lower quality with lower meat content.The good: Portion sizes of both chips and large haddock fish were good. Customer service was good and friendly staff.

Great chip shop and fried food emporium! Like to give local establishments our custom. Personally I think portions are good value.

Their £1 meals are the offcuts that didn't quite make the cut so instead of throwing them in the trash they Sell them on to Customers. Chips were soggy, Fish cakes were mushy/ bland and the Customer experience was even more bland.

I thought I would try this out for the first time and I'm sorry to say it was awful. Soggy fish and stubby little chips which were also soft and soggy. Hadn't eaten half of it and afraid to say I was actually sick. If the owners read this they should check the fish. The rest went in the bin. Given all the positive reviews I'm guessing this was a one off....but won't be back.

The fish and chips were really nice. I ordered a small cod fish but it was much bigger than I expected and you got plenty of chips too!

Very good for fish and chips and a good variety of other dishes cooked to order so fresh and hot batter on fish was perfect would highly recommend

I live directly above the shop and decided to try it out.I had a small battered sausage and regular chips and at £2.30 it is a great price.The chips taste great and by far best that I've had from any chip shop in a very long time.The battered sausage is perfectly cooked.

Only had a piece of large cod, had a 5-10min wait as you'd expect. Was very nice batter and fish cooked well. Not 100% convinced it was cod or that tilapia fish instead, but tasted nice.
