Abington Tandoori in Northampton

Really nice food in my opinion. Staff are always nice and helpful. Only ever picked up so can't comment on delivery.

I've always wondered if places give you less meat if you don't order a bottle of wine - or order rice. Well, this last order confirmed it: it's true. I've been ordering from this local place since I moved to Northampton a couple of years back - and I've put very good reviews - but the portions when you do order rice have got stingier Don't you dare not order rice though, because they'll take it to another level. Literally, two chunks of chicken per eight quid dish Look, people are bleeding out here. If we don't order rice it's because we're skint; don't punish us for it!. Shameful and stingy.

Just now I have ordered a chicken korma.I have received it full of sweet in curry.Never recommend this restaurant in Northampton.

The worst takeaway I have dealth with. Food was an hour late on arriving. Two phone calls later provided absolutely no explanation or time estimate. When I requested he call the driver he returned to the phone about 5 seconds later and told me he had just spoken to him and he was on his way, still no time estimate. Staff were unhelpful all round, will never order again

Refused my order, as it obviously wasn't desirable enough for them. Extraordinary waste of time and money. Naturally I won't order again, just trying to warn others to prevent similar issues.

Ordered for the first time, the food was delicious, it came quickly, was reasonably priced and portions were good too. Definitely will order again.

Honestly the best place! I wish they had a restaurant you could sit in. The service is always good and they are friendly couldn’t ask for better never been later than the quoted time and the food is delicious! Please add chicken chatt as a main to the menu

Last time we order from here, food was terrible. Rice was watery, curry had no flavour. Called to complain only to be laughed at down the phone. If your ordering a tandoori avoid this place. I would recommend cooking it yourself or ordering from far cotton tandoori.

Not impressed by this meal at all!! The korma and tikka didn't have much chicken in it but plenty if sauce. The rice was very watery to the point I mopped up a puddle from my plate with tissue. The naan breads were very thick and doughy which meant it was greasy in parts. The chips looked like they were cooked by a heated arguement .. certainly not an oven.I would avoid this place and would 100% recommend HEADLAND SPICE which is only 5 mins away...

Excellent quality food with authentic tastes and delivery was so fast too... would highly recommend.Loving looking delivery driver too on Wednesday night too well worth the eye Candy😉
