Andrews Take Away in Northampton

I didn't find the staff very welcoming or helpful. I found it difficult to understand what was being said and that was treated as an irritant.

Placed a simple online order, website stated 20/30 mins for delivery, finally delivered after 1 hour 15 mins. This after a £5 delivery fee, not acceptable. This takeaway seems to have nosedived in the last six months, the food received was poor quality, I will give my business to other more reliable establishments.

Called last night just after 9 for a battered sausage. Husband was told sorry we don't have any despite them having sausages they could have battered. We used to come regularly until the one at Weston Favell Centre opened and the nicer friendly owner went there. After them getting our order wrong a couple of times we stopped going. Last night doesn't encourage us back

I've been been going here for more than 20 years. Which tells you everything. I have either a large sausage & chips, or a chicken breast & chips.

Awful. I've used Andrews on and off for well over 30 years, but the last few times, the food was awful. The last lot of chips we bought were inedible. There were many green ones, a lot had big eyes or bits that had sprouted, sone were black inside, and three in one bag had areas where the potato had been rotten before it was fried. There were very few decent sized chips; they were mostly little ends and hard bits. They tasted old; they were not fresh. We don't agree with food waste, but the lot went in the bin. Sadly, after all this time, we won't be using Andrews again.

I have used this chippy for my whole life at least the past 30 years but I have to say that in the last year the staff ARE RUDE AND UNHELPFUL. The food is good but I'm honestly thinking I don't actually want to put my hard earned money into a company that are so unnecessarily rude to someone they know has been going there for years....my parents used them too but I think tonight was my last visit...

This has been my local for 30 years, GREAT staff, chips are 10/10 and you cannot go wrong with their Tandoori kebab

Terrible burger!!Ordered a burger an unfortunately the chicken was pink. My pregnant mrs nearly ate it which as you well know would’ve made her ill. I was offered another burger but of course declined as I am not stupid enough to make myself ill.Will not be going here again
