Real Authentic Jamaican Food! The flavours are beautiful, try the Escovitch Fish, it is absolutely amazing, a highly recommended dish !

I have ordered from here countless times and the food has always been great. Never had a complaint to make against this company. However, the food last night has left both me and my wife with very bad food poisoning. My wife is pregnant with twins and this carries a risk to the babies, so she is now in hospital due to throwing up so much. A simple check online and you will see this place was awarded a 1 food hygiene rating. Look further and you will see management of food safety is "Major improvement necessary". Very unimpressed, this is a business serving multiple people day, but does not take food hygiene safety seriously at all. I've reported this to the food standards agency and will be seeking my money back and also any costs associated with my wife being hospitalised. God forbid this has any implications on my unborn twins.

We have ordered from here quite a few times via just-eat. We have told family about it as it’s always top drawer and now we have an order we have to take to Cambridge when we next visit! Calabash hut Northampton visits Cambridgeshire! ❤️ 10/5 stars if that was possible

5 stars to the delivery driver.Ordered a takeaway which was delivered within the hour. Food was cooked fresh, ordered Oxtail with butter beans and white rice. Generous portion sizes and complimentary salad given.Was too hungry to take any pictures.Would definitely order from them again.

Wow! First time ordering tonight and will definitely be ordering again. Highly recommend. Absolutely delicious and arrived before the expected time which is always a bonus :-) 5 stars from me!

Absolutely shocked by how terrible the food is! Jerk chicken came in what smelt and looked like bbq sauce, plantain was so dry. I feel so bad to have made my partner go all the way to get this food for me, which cost almost £10 just to be thrown into the bin! If you’re a true Jamaican food lover, then avoid this place.

1st time ordering from here and it’s definitely my go to place.. delivery was early and the food was soo yummy one of the best i’ve Tasted Staff are lovely too. Even called me when there was a change with my order which wasn’t a big deal and the lovely man that delivered my food then explained why they don’t do seasoned rice anymore.

I love the food here. Not many people can cook Jamaican food as good as my mum but the food here is definitely a contender. Have ordered a few times. Calabash will always be my go to place when I don't fancy cooking. The staff are very friendly too and my deliveries have always either been early or ban g on time, never late

Got this for dinner tonight and it was gross!. The curry goat was so salty we couldn't eat it and the curry chicken wasn't much better will never eat from here again.. big mikes all the way.. only ordered from here because they were closed. The Caribbean food at the carnival is better and they make it in a portable food trucks and bbqs.. I could make the food better my damn self!.

Let me be honest the food there is up there with all the Jamaican restaurants around. All beautifully cooked and consistent. taste with every meal, however the attitude of the lady is poor and that is what lets the experience down. She does not greet you properly and is rude and almost dismissive in the way she speaks. The fact that the food is so good is probably the reason I will return,, however if there was a place nearby with equally good food but better service I would not. I am contemplating not even going back because I believe if you are spending money in a restaurant to support people this should be appreciated by the people that own the business. She needs lessons in manners and customer service. If she is unable to do this then she should employ someone to be front of house who can make customers feel welcomed and then feel like they want to return.
