Chip Stop in Northampton

Forgot some items from our order, when I called to enquire the lady who I could barely understand told us that we were lying and all food was delivered. She refused to offer me the missing items even if I visited the shop, If I wanted the driver to deliver the missing items it would be a 4 hour wait. Bad experience. Spending hard earned cash and they can't even put correct items into a bag.

Missed out the main part of the order. Went to the shop to to collect the forgotten fish. I got an apology but by the time I got home the food was cold and needed to microwave. The batter on the fish was more pancake than crispy batter, chips were a pasty colour and the southern fried chicken was tasteless with absolutely no seasoning, tasteless greasy crumb coating.

Food was late came Lukewarm generally not good wouldn't order again even if desperate

Ordered a xxxl doner meat box came in a tiny box. I've had actual kebabs from here that have been good. The amount was no more meat in the "xxxl" box than in a regular kebab i'd usually get from them.Ended up asking for a refund through just eatWould still recommend probably just a busy time for them.

Ordered from here and they forgot some of my food so I rang to ask them to deliver the missing item. The man I spoke too was very rude to me and refused. I wouldn't recommend going here.

Horrible experience, do not recommend never ever, please people. Firstable, been waiting for my order 1hour and 26 mins, lady on the phone been lied that my order is underway to me, but it was not, chips was hard as a stone, overcooked or I say cooked 3 times probably, burger was oily, only Pepsi was OK. What dissapoiting

One of the worst takeaways I’ve ever experienced. Ordered our food, when the arrival time came through it was going to be over an hour wait. We then had an issue with the app & the order got cancelled so we contacted the restaurant who assured us they had received the payment which they had as it had left our bank & our order was already on its way. 30 minutes later we called again to be told our order was 5 minutes away, 15 minutes later we called again only to be told our order was cancelled and there was no food coming our way. When we confronted the manager he came out with every excuse possible but wouldn’t give me an actual explanation as to why we were misinformed! So all in all I would definitely NOT recommend this place!

I ordered food tonight 05/10/21. Should have been delivered 2045hrs. I called at 2115hrs & again at 2130hrs I was told both times that driver was outside my house. Not true knowwhere in site. Food turned up at 2210hrs Stone cold driver refused to take it back and left it outside my front door. The whole order went into the bin. Disgraceful behaviour. Never again.

This is not hygiene in the kitchen coz even if the meet fell down on the floor they just took it and wash them and use it and I saw it. They don't care about customers they just care about money. I worked there one day for 5 hours and they made me to do all alone and didn't pay my money back. The owner said he can't pay me the money, this wasn't good. I was doing the dish washing all alone and they were just watching me without helping. I was not happy at all.

Food is meant to be enjoyed with your family and loved ones. It is meant to make you feel happy, especially when you're eating your favourite meal.However, this is not the case with Chip Stop. I have never ever felt so much sadness eating food before. In fact, the sadness went all the way down to my stomach until I felt the need to puke.The chips were god-awful, and it certainly does not even deserve a single star on any review site on this Earth.Not only this, but I have visited this place before physically, and you can tell that the staff were not the happiest bunch of people. In fact, you can see the sadness and anger in their very eyes whilst serving you. I can empathise the very same feeling I felt when I was eating the chips from this "Chip Stop".Needless to say, I will never ever order from here again, and I urge others not to do so either. It sounds like they will be better closed down and to do other things, as the staff do not seem to be very happy people either.However, if you like your chips to be soggy, wet, and a complete mess, I would totally recommend this place as I can guarantee you that it will give you diarrhoea and/or food poisoning.
