Chiquito in Northampton

An unplanned midweek visit prior to a trip to the cinema and whilst the restaurant wasn't that busy the service from Mirjeta was excellent. She gave us time to settle before quickly taking our order and allowing us to enjoy our food and drinks as soon as they were ready. Everything was very tasty and we tried a few dishes new to the menu and we'll be back soon to try more.

Food, excellent. Drinks, excellent. Service, excellent. Best mojito I’ve had in a while. The food was fantastic, not a crumb left. Mirjeta (Mira) was lovely, excellent service and really friendly. We’ll definitely go back.

Was a nice place went about 2pm the staff were really nice had a good life with the waiter due to not being able to prounceate some of the item menus, the wait for the drinks was about 15minutes the cocktails were nice, food was a decent wait time and tasted very good the starts were nice hot and fresh the halloumi sticks were heavenly the same with there new start itemFor main we shared a paella which was a good size and filled us up tasted delicious was nice Fresh and presentation was good I recommend as was a nice lunch and nice atmosphere the music could of been a bit more authentic and shorter wait time for drinks other than that highly recommend 😁

All food that we have eaten was amazing, very delicious. Our waitress (her name is Barbara) is an extremely lovely lady. She looked after us with her smile perfectly. All staff deserve a big thank you. Good work guys. We definitely go back and will recommend you to our family and friends. Keep going 🤗

Food was great here. Paella was lovely and the build your own burrito was fully packed!! Ethan was a very courteous waiter who checked we and our food was ok and if we required anything else. He asked the chef to change a dish slightly which was no problem at all.Will definitely come back.

Since both Chiquios closed in MK, we visited the one in Northampton. Boy, we missed it!!! Excellent food… no, it was better than that - best Mexican food we had in the UK! Lovely restaurant with a brilliant atmosphere. Our waitress, Olivia, provided an exemplary welcome and service throughout the meal. Thank you for having us and we will definitely be back!

Barbara served us today and she was absolutely brilliant. She was friendly from the start and was fantastic and making conversation. She made sure we were satisfied with our meal and the service was very quick. Thank you Barbara, you’re doing a great job!

There are 4 things I look for when eating out, the food, the setting, value for money and the staff. We were a party of four celebrating a joint birthday and as we walked in received a warm welcome from a young lady at the door, who guided us to our table. Absolutely loved the setting in Chiquito's, it really sets you up for a good night. Our waitress was a lady called Barbara, who is probably one of the most genuine, engaging members of staff I have come across. We all had different questions about the menu and she was very knowledgeable and able to guide us in the right direction. A really lovely lady with a sense of warmth and humour about her.Food wise I opted for my main the pulled pork and chicken and to say I enjoyed it is an understatement. For a follow up I opted for the mango sorbet, which was so refreshing.All in all a very good evening

Food was good but a few let downs on our visit today. Starters arrived in normal time but there seemed to be a delay in the mains which meant we waited a long time between the courses. No explanation from the staff or apology when they came. There were around 5 other tables so not busy at all but there were a fair few app delivery orders going through the kitchen.I ordered double filling with my enchiladas and they looked pretty ordinary when they arrived (see picture). My wife ordered a steak cooked rare which came medium-well. It was really thin steak so hard to cook rare to be fair.Service was good and staff very attentive.Fair experience today, not the best but certainly not the worst!
