My worst restaurant experience in ages.No drinks offered. Soggy bruschetta, salad stale and brown at the edges. surly waiter who said the special was off, it wasn't. No salt in any of the food, had to ask for salt and pepper. Overlit in harsh white. Not surprised we were the only ones in the place

#1Hello everyone! It's a forbidden place for me. I do not advise anyone to go there. All the food is not tasty and of poor quality, the prices are too high. But the worst thing was when we took home delivery in this place. We were brought rotten fish to go, all the food stinked disgustingly, instead of soups they put a terrible mass that looked like a disgusting sour sauce. Bruschetta, which in the photo not only looked disgusting, they were terribly cooked. Before that, we were in this place and ordered other dishes and they were all tolerant, but not delicious. I don't advise anyone to visit this place, it's terrible.#2 ANSWER TO OWNERHello, we decided to write you another comment, as you found a way to justify what happened with food delivery. If you think that the customer can't tell rotten fish from fresh, if you think that stinky fish can be gross, then that's dangerous. Maybe you receive quality products, but I understood how you store them after I received a good amount of dishes that were spoiled or simply not tasty. It was very strange for me to come across frequently visited comments because I had dinner for coffee 2 times and it was not tasty for me, I did not feel the taste of even partial dishes. The only thing I liked was the "sunny rise" moctail, if I'm not mistaken. And even here, your moctail costs £6, how is that?( There are only 2 types of juice in this drink and a serving with plastic flamingo) In a quality restaurant “another one”, whose moctail is served amazing and it is unrealistically delicious, is cheaper. Do you want me to come to the restaurant and see how you cook, why? Can you fix the fact that yesterday you sent me rotten fish, frozen old bruschettas and disgusting mass, which was called soup? No, thank you. I just don't understand if your cook can't cook, why do you feed people at all and put such huge prices on dishes? It's a lawlessness for me.

Nice décor, very clean and well kept restaurant. By far the best thing about it is the food, I ordered a burger with fries. The burger was perfectly cooked and seasoned, you could taste the fresh tomatoes and cheese that were used. The fries were super crispy and well done, overall I’d give it a 10/10 personally! If you want good food, come to Pjayz Kitchen!

We popped into this lovely place today and had the tastiest chicken club sandwich. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and friendly ladies. We will definitely support this new business in the future and urge others to do the same. Thankyou ladies.

The service and the atmosphere is really amazing, we served by the owner who was very friendly. My steak was cooked perfectly and we loved the pasta. They have such versatility in their food, on top of that it is halal and cheaper in comparison to other places. The good part is students get 10% discount.Big thumbs up!

This was our second visit to Pjayz Kitchen and it is hands down the best halal food place in Northampton! The food and the service is always been outstanding, the portion sizes are great and the environment is cozy and warm. Would highly recommend esp for anyone looking to try food fusions with halal meat.

The breakfast selection is great value for money, their pizzas and burgers too! Unfortunately, their lamb shank was very tasteless. Overall a lovely restaurant warm atmosphere. Staff are also lovely 😊

Saw an article in the Northampton Chronicle that this place has opened up where Foodies Rocks used to be. Given the current situation I thought it was brave of anyone to open a new restaurant and they deserved a chance and I'm glad we did.Firstly, when you arrive they take their covid precautions seriously, which makes you feel safe. The owner is really pleasant and the staff are all young, still learning, but helpful and eager. The menu is interesting and varied, although some things (mainly the starters, without knowing portion sizes) seemed expensive, but other things seemed ridiculously cheap. For starters we shared a mixed grill (£9.99) which was huge and easily big enough for two of us.For mains my wife had the lamb shank, with garlic mash, gravy and sugar coated carrots, which she said was beautiful.I had the chicken karahi, which came with rice and a lovely fresh salad with dressing. The chicken was prepared in a traditional way, cut into small pieces, but still on the bone. This can make it a bit tricky to eat and may be off putting to some, but means the meat retains its juices and flavour. The spices in the sauce was amazing and full of subtle flavours. It was probably the best chicken karahi I have ever had.The restaurant is slightly off the beaten track, but please give them a try as the food experience is well worth it.
