Freddy's Chicken in Northampton

Ordered lunch from this place and waited inside while it was ready. Guy at the till was nice and accepted to swap my menu the way I wanted. Arrived with the food at the office and shared with everyone. Noticed there's no chicken as I ordered and called back to try and sort out the issue. I was reassured that everything is in the bag and the chicken is under the chips in the box. Checked again and there it was.Thanks!

Had collection order, the chicken was so dry no moisture, chips were so hard & crispy must have been sat there an hour. The guy in the back was picking his nose, and the guy serving was really rude. Would never order from here again!

Awful dry chicken. Advertised me one price and just charged me a completely different one. Don't even waste your time with terrible place

They advertise you one price, and then charge you a completely different and more expensive price. I'm pretty sure that's illegal. DO NOT GO TO FREDDIES CHICKEN

The service was quick enough, my son's meal, boneless meal and the chicken wings were fine, but the Peri fillets my hubby and I had were awful. They we so overcooked (surprised if they hadn't been reheated) they were incredibly dry and impossible to eat unless they we accompanied with lashings of sauce - which was self defeating as this masked the Peri flavour. We simply threw them away 🙃 Rio's have nothing to worry about, as I know where I'll get my Peri chicken in future 😉

Great late night food , hot fries and crunchy chicken, however cash only can be an issue.

Foods not bad to be honest, service is always poor. Takes ages, they don't listen, delay the food, forget the food. Chips are always cold and re-heated.Heard their food safety and hygiene is pretty shoddy too. Ok if you want a quick bite, but there are better options in town.
