Green Loft in Northampton

I've traveled the world and been to many very good vegan restaurants, I have to say without a doubt this is up there with the best. Fantastic menu, high quality tasty food, great portions, beautiful restaurant and lovely staff. We travel 2 hour round trip to eat there and it's totally worth it! Well done for creating such amazing food 😍

I don’t usually write reviews but this was absolutely terrible service. Really gutted as the starters we had were lovely. Arrived at 7 and got our drinks, they forgot a cup of tea and we had to ask twice where this was, and we were made to feel like their bad service was our fault and were assured it was arriving soon. Starters took long to arrive as well, we ordered 3 portions of the rice balls - it was stated on the menu that 3 would be on the plate with different flavours, yet only 2 arrived for each portion. When we queried this before we left we were asked if we were sure there was only 2??? Yes we can count? After over two hours waiting and no main courses we asked if the wait would be long, assured it was coming. The restaurant although attached to Chili village, was not busy and staff were scarce. When we tried to pay for what we had drank and our starters we were met with resistance and the waitress and manager were very rude, at this point I just wanted to pay for it and go, we were not trying to cause a scene. The waitress stood in the doorway and wouldn’t let my partner step outside for a cigarette even though he wasn’t the one paying. I’ve never had service this bad, I won’t be returning and will urge others to stay away from a horrid experience.

Thoroughly recommended. Went there for a family birthday meal. Beautiful food. Loads of choice. I am not vegan but loved it. The fish tastes more like fish than fish! Great service and atmosphere plus very reasonably priced. This hidden little gem needs promoting more though. It is part of Chilli Village but no exterior advertising which it needs.

Have eaten here several times. Quirky decor with hay bales. Very friendly service. Vegan fish and chips excellent. Asian tofu noodles fantastic!! My husband raved about the harvester pie. Their apple crumble is the best I've ever tasted!! Please support this restaurant.

What a magical, mystery tour it was! Amazing food, great portions and super fresh. Lovely service. Would love to go on an evening too as the setting is great. I bet it’s really pretty when candle lit. Parking really easy. There’s a pay and display right there but they also have their own car park. You have to park and then log in when you enter. The staff will prompt you about the car park.Would definitely recommend!

Best vegan restaurant hands-down!! I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of ingredients and the attention to detail in presentation. Everything we ordered was seasoned perfectly and so tasty. The fish n chips and burger were the best i have ever had and would satisfy a meat eater. Me and my partner are vegans and really enjoyed the variety and excellent service here. Highly recommend and will definitely be back to try the other menu options. Dont miss out please eat here!

We came here for my birthday meal and it was incredible! To have such a variety of interesting and delicious vegan food is an absolute treat.Not only that but Zivile is a credit to the restaurant and sets a brilliant example in customer service. We had a spectacular evening and will certainly be back again!

I chose Green Loft as the restaurant to go to for my partner’s birthday as he’s vegan and I’m vegetarian (the menu is completely vegan). I have to say that it completely blew us away! The atmosphere and service was outstanding, the food was brilliant and we had such a good time.Our waitress tonight is called Zivile and she did a great job, she definitely deserves recognition for her customer service skills! I’d definitely recommend the arancini balls and the vegetable strudel! We’ll definitely be coming back again and will be telling our friends and family about this place. The restaurant downstairs from Green Loft called Chilli Village seems really nice too.

Came here 3 years ago, so glad they are still here and the menu is so varied. Lovely food and warm atmosphere with a great selection for a plant based diet
