Harvester Riverside in Northampton

The service was extremely slow - especially the drinks and the salad bar. Went to the salad bar twice, both times waited in excess of 3 minutes for a team member to serve me. Ordered our drinks at the beginning, had to chase them up twice and they didn’t arrive until half way through dinner.Also I asked to swap out the chips for a jacket potato, unfortunately the meal arrived with sweet potato fries, by this time - especially with still not having had drinks, and slow service, I wasn’t prepared to wait to get it rectified.

Been Today as a Post Celebration Meal. Amazing Service, Rather Quick. Food was very Nice. The only complaint i have preventing a 5 star review is the ongoing covid restrictions around the Salad Bar. I honestly find it quite shocking that while the whole world has begun to move on from the pandemic, this chain of restaurants is staying to procedures. I don't quite understand why we cannot make-up our own salads still, it would move much faster rather than letting a queue of people build up and putting pressure on one member of staff to make them all if we could just make them ourselves.

I've eaten here twice in the last 4 weeks. Once with friend, once with family and both times it's been amazing. Food is great, prices are good and the staff are always friendly although they are rushed off their feet. Would highly recommend :) The only negative is they havnt always got everything on the menu but you cant do anything about supply issues.

I had the purest burger and traditional wet fries, plus onion rings. It was odd to have someone dish up my salad for me. Friendly, attentive and gorgeous food. They clearly value the custom of vegans and veggies rather than tolerate us. 5*’s for Amber and the team from me.

Ordered scampi, chips were seasoned well, scampi, a fine taste, friend liked waffle. Starters good, portion size okay

Great service and delicious food. Went for brunch with my mum, she’d never had waffles before and she wasn’t disappointed. Our host was lovely and very prompt. 👍🏻 definitely recommend

Came for Christmas day lunch and was delicious. Restaurant was busy but we were seated quickly and drinks service asked within 5 minutes. Food arrived quickly for the three courses and was piping hot and delicious. Staff were superb, courteous, quick and attentive. Would highly recommend the Xmas day experience at harvester.

The service staff were very good polite and friendly. But we were not made aware of drink refills or salad bar. Also the servings were a bit small and some items were over cooked . The waitress understood and took it straight back but was told by the chef that how it's ment to be but it was over cooked the waitress was great and put discount off the bill straight away and seemed a little embarrassed buy the chef .

Good food and very friendly and attentive staff.I had the nachos as a a starter, which was a bit cold but was edible, the salad bar which was somewhat limited in its variety and the chicken burger which was good.The staff were definitely the strongest point of the place.

A very good breakfast. Plenty of it good and quality. We'll cooked a swiftly served. Only issue was the heat, which they can't do anything about and getting milk for my coffee in a glass, which they can do something about.
