An unusual pub in that the back lower half and Large covered outdoor area is a real drinkers pubWhereas the front and top is a lovely pub restaurant serving a great Sunday roast. Fabulous friendly service. We've been here numerous times when visiting the cemetery Just up the road and never been disappointed by the food.Car park is a little small only drawback.

The Fox and Hounds is a fantastic and enchanting pub with a great atmosphere, which has been further enhanced by a recent refurbishment.Well worth a visit to sample the warm and friendly environment, we'll designed garden seating area, wonderful selection of drinks, courteous staff and great food.

Good pub to watch sky sports. Bit hard to find a seat when the football is on . But good for the atmosphere. Some of the locals are the only thing that puts me off of going in there more often

Unfortunately I can’t leave 0 stars. This is a very poorly managed pub, as a mcmanus venue we expected better. We booked a table on the phone and then to be told when we arrived we had no booking. They told me I must’ve called the wrong pub but then I went on further to show them the call history, they had no response. They stated they couldn’t accommodate us yet when we later looked online there was a slot 30 mins later. Will not be going here ever again!

Lovely and lively atmosphere with good food and very friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend going here for a fun evening out

We booked a work's Christmas Party here for 15 people! The booking process and service throughout was amazing and everyone had a lovely time... The food was great - a lot of choice and hugggeee portions! We would highly recommend and will definitely be back - thank you

Pub has gone massively downhill. Was quite a unique and characterful pub in Kingsthorpe. Now just feels like being on Bridge St. Such a shame.The sad thing is, until a month or so ago, this place was amazing.

Came with my family for lunch on a Saturday. Was very disappointed in the service. We waited quite a while for our food despite it being very empty and we only ordered sandwiches or sides, we had to chase up where it was in the end. Our drinks were left on the bar so long that I had to go up and grab them myself and bring them over, this is despite there being a staff member right next to us ignoring the drinks and instead prioritising writing on the sign board. Also forgot one of our drinks from the order. When the food arrived one of the dishes had the incorrect side. Another dish they forgot to bring out the chutney. They didn't offer sauces so we had to flag them down again to eventually get them. They also started clearing plates while some of us were still eating. On a good note the food was very tasty.

Lovely food and a good atmosphere. Great to see some live music again for the first time in over a year.

Love this place! Popped in for a quick drink with a friend. The outdoor area is well thought out and has some powerful heaters to keep out the chills! A good mix of friendly staff and locals to give the place a really enjoyable atmosphere. We ended up ordering a few small plates, the squid was just perfect. Can't wait to return for a meal and full on night out very soon!
