Madeira's in Northampton

Had to wait hours for our food, despite there only being one other table of people when we arrived, we were literally served last after everyone else that arrived well after us. It's a shame because the restaurant seemed nice and the food was good when it eventually arrived, but just absolutely terrible service.

Such a cute restaurant, it looks so unassuming from the front. Amazing atmosphere, hoping to go back soon. 👍🏻I had the chicken shish and lots of Sangria. 😂🍷

The food was absolutely delicious; so tasty! The generous portions are well worth the money and as it's freshly made it's worth the wait too.The staff were friendly and didn't even mind me practicing my Portuguese with them.This is such a fantastic hidden gem; we'll certainly be returning soon.

Great little place. Looks like a takeaway from the outside, but a whole new world opens up, when they seat you in the back. Divine food, great wine, superb atmosphere, and wonderful staff 10 out of 10 Obrigado/a 🙌🏼
