Magee Street Bakery in Northampton

Love this place. Great produce and sandwiches and the coffee is really good.

First fine visiting Magee Street bakery and will most certainly be back!! We only ordered two toasted sandwiches but when they arrived we couldn't believe our eyes, the size!! The taste, the quality. Lovely friendly staff too. If you haven't been you must....

This is a hugely popular little bakery/coffee shop on the corner of a very unassuming street. A completed unexpected gem. The food smells extremely nice and friend report the taste lives up to the expectation your nose create. Unfortunately being a bakery, not much in the way of gluten free product for me, but this is a small bakery and I think it is realistic not to offer everything. I went in for a coffee, and I have to say it was one of the nicest brews I've had for a long time. There was a queue and a wait for the coffee, but it was worth it!! Again this is a small and popular place, I think some queuing is unavoidable.

Great tasting food and i love supporting independent shops. Before the pandemic I loved going here. But. The service from one senior individual was passive aggressive turned up to 11. It really put me off my food. I won't be going back.

Expensive and nothing special. Very average tasting huge portion of sandwich. I wished they had put more focus on making the sandwich tasty and portion size. Coffee was expensive for the small size (Starbucks latte tastes better). Due to covid restrictions, they allowed one person at a time for placing order which was great. Wish they had put their menu outside for people who were waiting so they don’t feel rushed at the time of ordering.There were only sandwiches and no other options in the menu were available.

Wonderful atmosphere, great coffee & all the food is home made. The staff are friendly, helpful, patient & polite. The food is brilliant & we have found a new favourite place. Thank you guys 👍

Fab people, fantastic sourdough bread, good atmosphere. I would love it to have a wholemeal or rye sourdough choice as well but hey, it is still fab! The lunch sandwiches are great too plus excellent drink choices. Highly recommend.
