We enjoyed a delicious beautifully cooked family meal tonight at Sophia's.A lil gem of a place.Empty plates all round.

Went to Sophias by accident as we hadn't booked and just passing.They were so accommodating and found us a table.There was live guitar playing and the atmosphere was great.The food was really good and tasty and staff were excellent.I wish more restaurants looked after their customers like this place.Update. May 2022.I noticed that the review above hadn't been posted yet and was still in draft form. Anyway, we went back to Sophias again yesterday and again the service and food was excellent. No music this time but the atmosphere was great as we're the staff. Can highly recommend the Calezone pizza. Thanks Sophias.

The visit was for my daughters hen party meal. The menu was varied and reasonably priced, service was very attentive and the drinks menu very good. Portions were very generous and the food quality and presentation was excellent! Oh, and not forgetting the lovely music playlist! As a self confessed foodie I would thoroughly recommend this privately owned intimate restaurant. 10 out of 10!!

This is a genuine review of this restaurant and I can't believe I am writing it as I normally think they are mostly fake! However......Incredibly good food and service, we had a most enjoyable evening and attention to our wants and needs were well taken care of. Reasonably priced and I was expecting to pay far more than the bill was. Well done all at Sophias, we will not only be returning but will be brining others to enjoy your hospitality and food.

Amazing food and lovely staff! It’s our third time here with our little girl the staff are so friendly and always remember us! Lovely cocktails and the steakDiane ans the steak Rosso both cooked perfectly !

Visited for Valentine's Day. Very friendly staff, owner or manager, kept looking over but never actually acknowledged us in any way & just looked at me when I walked in alone. Gorgeous food, can't fault anything. There was a lady photographer taking pictures of our food, she was very nice but it was off putting when trying to have a romantic evening.It killed any romance to be honest, hence score

Wonderful place to eat, searched on Google for a nice place to take my partner and so glad I chose Sophia's.The waitresses were very attentive and polite with nothing being too much hassle.The food was fantastic, the meatballs for starters are a must and the lasagne was also amazing and a good portion.Lovely setting and overall restaurant and we will definitely be visiting again soon.

"Wow factor"found this little gem of a place 5* +. On arrival welcomed by Laura and Jule the Proprieter, the service the food ambience everything about this place is "Perfect" l was absolutely spoilt for choices on the menu.. again the meal was cooked to perfection with flavour. Complrments to the Chefs.. This place should not be missed out. And the Cre'me Bru'lee was exceptionally delicous.. 2 would have been gready.. That's how amazing it was. First time going in Sophia and I was more then impressed from staff to the place taking you to a different part of the world. Service and food was spectacular. Well cooked , good size portions , well presented and fresh seafood cooked to perfection. We will definitely adding it to our go to restaurants and recommend to others.

It was 1 year anniversary and I decided to make a reservation to bring my partner and I for a lovely diner night out.The first impression we had was that we felt really welcomed by Emilia who walked us to our lovely and decorated table. I was impressed by everything they had prepared for us in that special ocasion (photos below)Trhoughout the whole time , all members of staff were very attentive and caring to make sure we have an excellent time, the food was served within the normal time, an excellent portion size and quality.We have ordered a 3 course meal and to be frankly honest, we ate a lot. I was not expecting the portion to be such as good as it was. My partner had a risotto with chicken which I tried and liked it (even though I dont like Risotto).You can tell at first glance when walking in the restaurant, that the atmosphere is really the place you want to be at least for 2 hrs.Lovelly food, Lovelly service and excellent vibe.We will definately be back.
