Oriental Garden in Northampton

What a lovely restuarant. We hadn't booked but they found us a table. We had the main menu. Service was good, food was great and the staff were very friendly. Even the owner took time to speak to several of the diners. Had a really enjoyable night.

We had the buffet and the food was fabulous and service was good, the waiters/waitresses were very friendly and attentive. Iv took a star off as I don't understand how they can justify charging a 4 & 5 year old £12 each when they had a few mouthfuls of food. When I queried this before we ordered I wasn't given a clear answer or a different option that would of been better for the kids and was told its just what they charge. Other than that the food was great and we will be visiting again, just not with the kids!

As always the restaurant was bright and clean with lovely friendly staff. We chose from the Dim Sum & a la carte menu's, and could not fault the quality of the food. The restaurant and restroom has easy access for anyone with wheels and parking is close by at the Mayorhold multistorey car park. Well worth a visit.

The Oriental Garden Chinese Restaurant in Northampton is well worth a visit, it has a relaxed environment and every dish was well cooked and tasty. I did take off 1 star, as some of us didn't eat meat & when we asked what the dishes were as they were brought to us, the waitress just shrugged and said - don't know!

We skipped the 'all you can eat' in favour of the traditional Chinese dishes (which so few Chinese restaurants actually offer) and we weren't disappointed. It was absolutely delicious.We had squid with garlic, chilli and spring onions and the beef in chilli oil (like a Szechuan pepper stock), and pak choi. It was just perfect!Perfectly seasoned, full of flavour. The beef stock had the light citrus-y touch from the peppercorns. Very happy and I'll be back to get through more of the traditional dishes soon!4* because a mandatory 10% service charge is added. We were happy with the service we received but I don't think this should be mandatory.

The food here is fantastic! Very attentive and friendly staff! It’s quite hard to find some good Dim Sum around the area! All you can eat option is also amazing and great value for money!

Love this place. Always end up going here when I visit my family and they always look after us. Food is really good and the staff are lovely. What more do you want.

Absolutely beautiful food. We went for the all you can eat menu but we will be coming back very soon for the dim sum. Staff were lovely and friendly and helped us choose what to have.

❤️Love, love, love❤️ best Chinese I've ever had ever! Vast amount things on menu, depending on wanting either small snack or full meal. And the way the buffet is done, is more classy than helping yourself (done as courses), good price and quality with it, 11 out of 10 if possible. I totally recommend even when busy! As so worth it!! Portions are just right (especially as can go round again) they even adjust buffet sizes they bring out depending on size of party❤️
