Authentic and delicious Thai food! 🇹🇭 Home Away from Home 🍜 I will be coming back again & again!Being half-Thai myself, I grew up on Thai food and crave that aromatic, fresh and spicy authentic Thai food - Royal Thai Northampton did not disappoint!The jumbo prawns were fresh and cooked to perfection, the noodles were delicious and spicy just like I had asked! All dishes were a good portion size, especially for the priceThe vibe is always fun, welcoming & friendly just like in Thailand - if you have ever been, you will know what I mean!The staff from the owner, to the chef and servers were all Thai - I could speak the language to them and you don’t get more authentic than that!

Absolutely amazing meal, took my friend here for their birthday and it didnt disappoint! Best thai food I've had in ages and the staff are all so welcoming. Would highly recommend!

Brilliant food brilliant people. I ordered a takeaway last night and the customer service was on point. Delivered right on time, very warm and yummy pad knee mao. I can’t wait to go have a real sit down dinner and try even more amazing authentic Thai food! 😍😍😍

Literally stole my money?!Ordered on Deliveroo, they called to say an item would be missing as they didn’t have it, but that they’d put the cash in for the item instead. Food comes and there’s no cash. They then ignored all emails and calls to try and rectify the situation, so I’m just out of money. As for the food I did receive- the noodles were swimming in oil and I’ve had better spring rolls in sainsburys. Neither got finished. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!!!

We went on a Saturday night, it was reasonably busy. We had a set menu, the starters were OK as was the selection of mains, but only just OK. If you have no idea what thai food is supposed to taste like, or your not fussy about ordinary surroundings, you'll be reasonably happy with the food. It was our 2nd visit and definitely the last.

I rarely write reviews but our meal this evening was fully deserving of this. The Royal Thai on the Welly Road is outstanding; the food was terrific, tasty and good portions and the staff were so friendly. In addition the cost was very reasonable making this a must restaurant to frequent - we will definitely return.

I don't think our delivery was cooked fresh. The chicken in the Pad Thai was so hard and rubbery I couldn't even bite through it, like at all. I've never experienced chicken like that in my life. The skewers also seemed reheated in oil and stale. The red curry wasn't bad but overall the order was a waste of money because we didn't eat most of it. Hopefully this was a one off and they make their food fresh in the future but I won't be ordering again.

Fantastic food and great service. Very attentive and kind staff. The food was brilliant and authentic. The papaya salad and tofu ginger stir fry in particular was great! Lots of great vegetarian options too. Highly recommend!

Had a great meal here last night for a leaving meal, fantastic food beautifully prepared and very tasty, l will definitely visiting again with the wife. Some pictures look the same but we're different.
