T&2 Sugars in Northampton

Sorry guys, normally this place would rate a 4 stars, but today's visit. Nope. Coffee machine was broken, so no coffee of any description, the front of house girl was trying her best, but the kitchen staff! Very disappointed, our order was ignored twice, and the table over from us only got 2 of the 3 dishes they ordered. Items were left off pretty much every order in the cafe. Shame, cos have been here before and had no issues. Sort out your kitchen staff guys, you will benefit from it, and all the people I saw leaving half eaten breakfast may have been a little bit happier

DON"T USE. These people are slow, don't speak English and are full of nonsense and excuses. Terrible business they couldn't care less if the food turns up at all. Rip off.

Poor, slow service, my friend had his food on the table before they had even taken my order. I requested a half sandwich for my 10 month old baby. They said they only had adult sandwiches so i said that was fine. They brought out a one slice of bread sandwich with a sprinkle of grated cheese but still charged me for a full adult sandwich. Couldn’t discount it as no manager available. My food was poor quality and not worth the money

Clean, welcoming and quick service, but TOO expensive. All day breakfast toast and coffee just over £9 or don’t I go out much🤷🏾‍♀️

Food was decent, greeted nicely. Staff dealt with customer who was causing a problem professionally and sweet. Great but maybe table can have a good clean as well as chairs.

Arrived at 10.50am, walked in to a really unhappy environment. Other customers did not look happy. Sat there for about 15 minutes waiting to be even acknowledged, then managed to place an order, whilst still sitting on a dirty used table. Another customer complained about not getting his toast that he had ordered, but waitress refused to knock it off the bill, although she did offer it to him as he was paying, after he had eaten. A Breakfast arrived at the table behind us, there were two people on the table, the mushrooms were missing, then 5 minutes later the other meal arrived cold. 5 other people walked in, 2 tables of 2 and a single guy on his own. Their orders were quickly taken. After 25 minutes we asked if we could have our tea, to which we received 2 really weak cups of tea, we tried drinking it but had to ask for a tea bag for some flavour. Another couple arrived and heard people complaining so they just left again. The single guy then received his breakfast, he had been waiting 5 minutes. So we asked how long our food would be and she said she would check. Then the other two tables revived their food, at which point we told them to cancel our order as we had been waiting for 50 minutes and everyone else had been served, everyone had ordered breakfasts, so it’s not like we ordered anything different. The waitress just said ‘OK’Terrible service, total waste of time. This place used to be great, would not recommend at all now. Then as we were leaving another table was cancelling their aswell as they had been waiting nearly as long as we had. Staff kept disappearing, but weren’t re appearing with any food. The place was a mess.

Stopped in for breakfast. Very satisfying and reasonably priced. Staff were kind and facilities were clean

First thing I heard when I walked in was abuse from the manager! No idea why or what reason but the waitress told me that he'd been drinking and not in a good mood! Avoid at all costs and go somewhere else...

Fantastic food. Spot on !!. Very good portion size and staff very friendly. Will definitely visit again ☺
