The Hart, Duston in Northampton

Great bar staff, friendly and helpful. Fantastic drink prices and a very welcoming place.

I rated this 2 stars 5 months ago and again 2 stars today. While the bar is large, only a small area is being used to serve, and half of that was occupied by people on bar stools reducing it even further! Leaving only space for one customer at a time, causing an unnecessary queue.

PROBES FOR CHEFS DUSTERS FOR WAITRESSESWhat can I say we arrived at 8.10 to be told by daughter the kitchen closes at 8.30, so we quickly picked our mealsSquid,pie, hunters chicken ,kids meal nothing hard to cook , we received our meals apart from the squid all looked great apart from the over use of rocket ,I cut my pie open for it to be stone cold inside so it wasn't probed these sort of product need to be probed over 78c a two second job, we complained my pie was taken back came back 25 minute's later when everyone else had finished there meals not the best experience looking around the place seems to be lost its love dirty dusty lightsWine glass chandelier covered in dustI certainly won't be going back to eatThe manager landlord looked lost given upI'll never understand a pub that's struggling in the week and closed through the pandemic closes it's kitchen at 8.30 on a Friday eveningThere's. Very busy when we visited, really good staff, warned us of wait and some menu items not available, food was great - had the burger from the specials menu - arrived quicker than the advised delay. Spot on all round 👍

Lovely bar and restaurant, with special days when doggies are welcome too for brunch.

We had a party of 10 and all meals came out hot, unusually good for pub grub.Spacious dining and nice outside seating.Staff Exellent 👍

Nice pub but we visited on a Wednesday evening about 8.30pm.To our suprise they called last orders at 8.50🙁 due to lack of customers ISo

Fast service, especially the food which is always amazing. Staff always helpful, great atmosphere and i have never been disappointed x

I'm an American visiting my fiance in England this year's Christmas. He mention this Pub which was walking distance from his flat. I had their lasagna, which was so creamy & all around a wonderful comfort food to have at a pub. I never had lasagna quite as hearty and pleasant in America, I would love to go back and have it again! Customer service was quick & friendly too, staff was so polite!

Today for my sisters birthday we had a family lunch at the Hart. The service was brilliant, thank you to the lovely lady that served us. The food was amazing best food I have had in a long time. The children enjoyed theirs as well as the chocolate fudge cake. We were not hurried and enjoyed a lovely long relaxed meal with delicious food and drinks. Great pub and atmosphere, would recommend and will be going back
