The Old White Hart in Northampton

Having had a couple of really good meals on the 40% menu on a Tuesday we decided to have our Easter Sunday Lunch here.Not having a large appetite it was great to have a half portion for half the price. However it was really disappointing to find that the lamb shoulder I had been really looking forward to was presented in a ball of mush. Despite this I have given 5 stars because everything else was cooked to perfection and the service was great. Will definitely return but hope the beef is as good as everything else excluding the lamb.

Went here for a pub lunch last Friday and everything about the place was lovely.Very nice looking place, food was amazing(we had camambert sharer and a burger each)It was reasonably priced and I would definitely go back again👍

We've been here before for a Valentine's meal (back in 2016); the food was nothing to write home about but service was good.We came again for Sunday roast in March 2022 and the food was scrumptious; very accommodating staff, catered to our toddler and in the summer, the garden has plenty of lovely seating. Very nice atmosphere.

My sons wife arranged his 40th birthday party here. Good party room. Have been to celebrations here before. Bar in the room.Staff were run of their feet but still remained friendly and professional. Very good night and I salute the staff having to clear up after us. Must have been a late night for them.

Lovely food with a very good choice on the menu which isn't always the case in many restaurants and pubs since reopening after lockdown. Great service from friendly personnel.

Last minute booking, absolutely delicious food and attentive staff in a lovely building. Even better that is disabled friendly with wheelchair access and loos. See you again next time that were in the area. Overlooked gem here!

Just had our works Christmas party here and it was a great night. Good food and drink, very attentive staff and a well decorated pub. There were 22 of us and the lounge room was perfect. Thank you Old White Hart. Highly recommended.

Would definitely go back for a drink but not for food.Spacious good looking bar, plenty of good decor! Limited real ale selection (nothing on pump, just bottled doombar). Staff were lovely and helpful.I ordered food and wasn’t impressed, the burger wasn’t amazing and some of my chips were a little undercooked, expected more for the price.
