Great pub, great beer

·

It's a great pub full of character and characters! Folk music night - every Thursday night - at Olde England is very special.

·

Nice Little pub Little pub. Very friendly staff and a good choice of real ale.

This pub isn't as olde as it looks but attracts a very friendly talkative bunch of locals (and dog), along with the barman. They don't offer food anymore, but have a good selection of around 8 to 10 well-kept real ales on hand pump as well as many flavoured ciders and at least one traditional cider. Many of the beers are local. The interior is quite dark, and on three levels; I think it could get crowded on a Friday or Saturday evening.

A great little ale bar. Nice range & well priced. The last time I went they were an upstairs only business, but I think they were going to expand downstairs as well. Also very grateful to them as they gave my daughter a job when she was at Northampton Uni.

Nice selection of beers, ales and stouts. Good service too.

Great laid back old style pub. Very well priced with drinks far better than simply lager. Pub staff are excellent and the customers are fantastic. Attended a games night there which was awesome. They host other evenings too. Brilliant place

There are very few pubs Like this one that still look and feel like a pub used to. This pub is choc full of character and not a plastic pub or chain pub. Quaint, welcoming and warm. The choice of beers and ciders are huge and great quality.

I've walked past I don't know how many times and finally went in. There's two bars - one up (tiny) and one down in the basement (also tiny). The wait staff are friendly and helpful.Decor is very Olde England - there's a suit of armour and basses adorning the beams. Good ale and a lot quieter than the Picturedome across the road! Definitely recommend for a quiet beer. I'll be going back!

Had a family Christmas meal here. Everyone enjoyed it. Have eaten and drunk here many time and would recommend. Good range of ales and ciders. Staff friendly. Unique pub spread over 3 floors. We prefer the top and largest room.
