Good pub with good selection of beers and real ales.

Management and staff are really trying to make this pub a place to go. Entertainment great, as are the pizzas!

Didnt realise that we were late for food. But the staff were amazing and still went ahead with the order. So glad they did as it was absolutely fantastic! Well worth a visit whether it's just a quick one or for nice relaxed few hours, you'll definitely be made to feel very welcome.

Update, as at Friday, 7th June, 2019Called into this pub to see about some lunch. Now under new management - not currently doing food. Did not stay.----This review is from a number of years ago.This is a great local pub.The beer is good; the food is good; the decor and atmosphere are good too.The staff do actually seem to know something about beer - which is nice!

Such a nice pub, wish there was more seating it the garden.. I opted for the bench covered in bugs but the kids couldnt handle it :D Always good beer, food good too but busy because its good. Just wish i lived closer. Worth travelling to for good beer.

I have been comming in this lovely old pub for many years. It has a great atmosphere especially when the rugby is on as they show live games on a big screen.Always a good range of well kept real ales good home cooked food .

Traditional, quality, ales and atmosphere. Saloon and lounge bars with satellite TV and some sofas for a more relaxed experience. I enjoyed a great evening out with a couple of friends and we will definitely return...

This pub is the best in the area! From a warm welcome by friendly staff and a great range of ales to the fabulous home cooked food, it's hard to beat a place like this!This pub is welcoming for someone visiting on their own, couples, work colleagues or families.Well done to all who work here to provide such a great local pub.
