The Sun Inn in Northampton

Went there for a lunch so the night pub crowd was not there. Sufficient space was available for us to choose from. The outside sitting is nice with a good garden and playing area for kids.Food was also nice but had only traditional English options.

Saturday Night in HardingstoneAfter just turning up with no booking the staff were very accommodating, squeezing in the 2 of us.We decided on burgers, after eating thought they were expensive for what they were ,when compared to somewhere like the smoke pitThat are far better but cheaper.Dessert was really nice 👌🏼But an enjoyable stay , and the staff were friendly and very attentive.

Well what can I say, the first time we called in for Sunday lunch, service was appalling and it was difficult to get served or get any ones attention. So we thought today we would give it another. Just going to say wish we hadn’t, bar service was great super friendly chap behind the bar that’s were the good ends. Cajun burger was more like chicken and salt burger, trying to get staffs attention even though they are behind you is non existent and finally do get sorted it comes out with hair in the dessert. It was taken away and waited ages for another one. We asked for the bill as we were sick of waiting and it then arrived with no cutlery to eat it with & yeah you guessed right it took time to get the attention again to get a spoon. There was two of us and some how there were items on the bill that weren’t our and had to question that too. Having worked for this company I can say this isn’t the Norm in many of there houses and when we dine at the red lion it’s always perfect. Ruined a nice midweek meal won’t be returning twice was enough.

Food amazing, waitress efficient and friendly, fairly priced

Really impressed. Not been here for a while but we came for an evening meal here. Service was great, wide variety of drinks and the food was AMAZING! Would really recommend the food here!

Welcoming staff and great food. Dog friendly so we will be returning. Food portions are just right the the Cajun Chicken burgers were amazing.

We love this beauty! We've eaten here with family, babies and dogs and always had a great meal. Food is fantastic, staff are so welcoming and friendly, this is such a wonderful pub for all occasions!

Nice little pub with lovely decorations. We had Sunday roast here. Food portion is quite small. Roast pork only has a couple of thin slices of pork. The carrot was not properly cooked. The Yorkshire pudding is quite nice. Burger looks nice. Desserts and hot drinks are nice. Friendly staff and one of our food was delayed as they missed the order.

We were staying at a local hotel and decided to go out for lunch. We looked on the map and spotted the Sun Inn. What a good choice! The food was beautifully presented and tasted equally good. I have a gluten intolerance and there was a great amount of choice on the menu which is great as often pubs only offer 1 or 2 options. I had the salmon and it was lovely, my husband had the pulled pork special and he loved that too. Alfie (Alethea) who served us was really friendly and we were made to feel very welcome.Would definitely recommend!

Lovely pub, warm service and my favourite IPA on tap, gorgeous setting. Only lacked a bit of music to create a little more atmosphere. Nonetheless, I'll be back!
