All of your food is really tasty and fresh. The Yorkshires and roast potatoes are just the best. I love the wide selection of veg you have on (I totally pigged put on the onions in gravy!!) your condiment selection is fantastic too

I was very disappointed with the carvery food. My grandson even had to ask for he's food to be warmed up. The roast potato's were hard and not very hot they were obviously left under the light too long and were not edible. The only pleasant thing about our visit was the waitress was very nice

Carvery meat was ok although not a great portion.Vegetables were barely warm and tasted very watery.Roasts were lovely as always so that's a bonus.We opted for the Pepsi max refill but that was too watery and tasted flavourless.We didn't make a complaint at the time but , should have.Decided to leave without finishing our meal and will not be returning

Stood at the Carvery counter for ages. Could hear the staff in the kitchen talking but nobody came out to see if there were any customers at any point who were waiting to be served. There were dry scraps of 3 of the meats and the beef. The whole Carvery area was messy. Instead of talking in the kitchen the staff could’ve been making the hot counter look slightly more appealing, replenished and at least tidy.The veg appreciated is kept under warm lamps but was very tired, dishes almost empty and again messy. This was at 5.30pm and starting to get busy. Twice I asked 2 different waiting staff to see if anyone was serving. At the point of walking out, eventually we were served. The beef & roast potatoes were very nice but the veg was just mush. Our waitress however was lovely on what I gather was her first day.

Prebooked, had no waiting time.We were taken straight to our tables. Clean and spacious setting. We was attended to by polite staff who took our drink orders and brought them to our tables almost immediately and given clear directions to where to get our carvery meal. Pork, gammon turkey and beef with an array of vegetable choices and the usual accompaniments with a Sunday roast.Cannot fault the food, it was top notch!today 10/4/2022Only slight concern; since we are still dealing with covid, a suggestion to follow up with, is to make a frequent change of the self serving utensils as they replenish the food dishes. Many hands handle each serving spoon or tongs so you can understand how that might be off putting to some.Overall very good service , meal and setting . We shall return in the near future. Oh yes , the price not half bad! A roast dinner with all the works plus drinks and desert all came up to under £20 each . Adult meal. Go and enjoy , you know you want to.

We wanted to thank Irene for her excellent service throughout our meal. She was both helpful and courteous throughout. My wife has vision difficulties and Irene very kindly took Jill's meal to the table for her whichi was very helpful.

Came here with the family after many years. Did not disappointed. Food was great, drink was great, dessert was great.And to top it off BRADLEY the server was lovely. Very engaging, funny and enthusiastic. Nothing was to much of a bother.

Meat on the carvery was good. Manager (I assume) was lovely and welcoming. Veg, gravy and potatoes tepid at best, a shame, as the carvery is good value. Also be careful is trying to use All4One gift cards, wouldn’t take mine, although Toby is listed on their website

Went today to enjoy a nice roast dinner with the family as we have always had a good experience. Today however was not the case. Food was substandard with my children and partner complaining the meat didn’t taste right. My partners lam had more bone than meat and the turkey did not look as though it was cooked properly. Despite that we put it down to the kitchen having an off day. Upon waiting to settle our bill a fight broke out between the chef and a customer! Doors being kicked, along with people charging at each other. Left my kids in tears along with others including some staff! Not the best £100 I have spent if I’m honest. Would quiet like somebody to contact me to discuss further.

The place was dead, and the food was cold, meat was not edible.Considering its in the name Toby's Carvery, easily the worst Carvery I've had in my puff.Staff were nice though, especially Bradley, what a good lad, just a young lad trying to make it through life.
