Absolutely stunning breakfast this morning which followed two insanely delicious burgers yesterday! Come here quite often and it's always on top form. Very friendly staff that alaways do their best to make sure the foods good and the best part of all is they've got the greatest manager ever in Helen!

I absolutely love this pub. The staff are awesome!Organised a meal for our ladies football team last week. Being a large party nothing was too much and the staff were really helpful during the planning stage. As per any event we had last minute changes and again the staff were really supportive.Food was fabulous and everyone has a brilliant evening. Thank you 😊

I am a very regular customer at the Walter Tull and absolutely love my time there; primarily due to the warm, friendly and welcoming qualities of the fantastic staff.However, my only gripe is that there is very little on offer for vegans. Literally two options: the vegan fish and chips and the mushroom pie. Neither of which are spectacular. I have been informed that the vegan burger option has been withdrawn as it failed to meet quality standards, which is all well, but nothing has been instated as a replacement. The previous menu's chick pea and red pepper burgers were great - it's a shame they can't come back.Limited menu aside, it is still a fantastic place to spend an evening and would highly recommend.

Went for my daughter 21 birthday meal pre ordered the food that came out in drips and drabs, adults served food while children had a long wait for theirs. Main course came out the chips were cold before I could tell the manger there were 3 fresh plates. So they knew the chips were cold and all courses were incomplete.The manger blamed it on a football night when the place was clearly calming down for the evening. Its obvious from meeting the team leader where the standards are set which were appalling. Even the manager agreed that the experience we had was unacceptable and had it not been for the service from Ryan the evening would have been nothing but full of complaints especially after requesting certain staff to avoid our table due to their terrible customer service skills.Yes all money was reimbursed but with it being a pre order for 10 people for a 21st birthday nothing will draw us back into this place. If i could give it no stars i would! AVOID AVOID AVOID!! Must just add this to the review and hope full update in the future the manger H was horrified on what had happened and offering my daughter myself and wife another meal free of charge

Fab service, friendly environment. Was checked on by the staff a few times, without it becoming intrusive. The food was delicious and at a really decent price. Will definitely go back.

Nothing special except good service and a great environment, apart from a great selection of drinks and food, what more do you want?

Hunter's chicken was ok. The afters were a rip off. Half the size of the picture and no hint of a strawberry. Poor branch or company policy?

Had, once again, a wonderful Christmas meal with our party!We don't do Christmas meal set menu, so while others were tucking into starters myself and hubby awaited our steak challenge (to share!)🤤 🤗 ....We were NOT disappointed. Steak cooked to perfection incredible attention to detail by all staff and dessert 👍👍👍👍Felt extremely safe as table layout was definitely thought about, given the size of our group.THANK YOU GUYS! been another year of uncertainty and you made us feel soo at ease 😌

Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the younger guys and girls were lovely. But food was a disappointment. Pub was very quiet, in total they had 5 tables without ours. First of all I been waiting at the bar while Caren decides can she make me a cocktail pitcher or not. So that took about 20 min, then we been waiting for food for 22 min. We ordered just a burger and a steak skewer. My fried chicken burger was very soggy and coating of chicken was coming off and grease was dripping of it.Rugby on the screen was so loud that we couldn't talk at all, but there weren't many watchers too. We haven't received a check back too. Men's toilet was out of use. Would not come back here at all. Sorry.
