After reading most recent reviews, I would have to agree that the service was poor. The waitress seemed mortally offended when we asked for the bill & the tension within the team was apparent. I don't know whether it's a training issue or a capacity one, but if staff actually did check backs & cleared plates they could ask customers if they wanted their bill or anything else. The food was alright, great burger ideas, but not really worth it for the service.

Always wanted to try there vegan burgers as everything on there menu they can do as a vegan version. Got in at 645, sat down. Waited about 20 minutes to be asked what we wanted. Drinks took about another 20 minutes to get us. Food took another 20 minutes after that to get to us. Burger was bland. Sand like. Dry. Service was okay but very slow. One lady threw the bill at us when we asked for it with no form of payment machine. Won’t be going again.

I’ve been excited to visit here for a few years now however I wasn’t impressed! The vegan “beef style” burger they use is horrid, very dry and crumbly and the taste wasn’t the most desirable. The service was very slow, albeit they were a little busy. But 25 mins from being seated to be asked for a drinks order isn’t acceptable. The best part was the beer battered onion rings, they where gorgeous 😍The drinks selection was decent, couldn’t fault that. Unfortunately I won’t be coming back or recommending it to anyone else.

Amazing burgers, I had the regular cheeseburger as I am boring and it was great. Curly fries 10/10. Only downside is the long wait for food.

Visited today and was pretty disappointed. We are looong term customers of Annie's and must have visited dozens of times. Usually love it and when there is a busy atmosphere I can understand that it might take a while to get service, but 6 of us visited for a birthday meal for my nephew and it was just let down by poorly trained young staff. It was really quiet compared to previous times, there seemed to be plenty of staff but so many literally did not seem to know how to serve customers. We had to ask for menus as none were given to us. We weren't given a children's menu even though we had an obvious child with us, had to go online to find it as we couldn't get the attention of a server. When we eventually placed our order, our drinks were forgotten and were left on the bar for 10 minutes until I flagged this and they were brought over. The water we'd order sat next to them on the bar was ignored and eventually taken to another table. I had to ask 3 times for the water! Food came swiftly and was delicious as always, although really inconsistent portion sizes on the hot dog and kids menu item compared to our last visit. Really small servings of fries (Annie's are usually generous!). I'm glad we only needed to order once as getting hold of staff was such a challenge. The older lady on front of house was obviously getting a bit stressed with how the younger members were performing, so I felt for her. Annie's, please train your staff better. Not sure if many were new, but they didn't even seem to care very much! We will be back but I hope that it's better next time :(

Such good Burgers! We've been twice and have been amazed at how delicious the burgers are. Plus, with such an extensive menu, you are spoiled for choice! They also have a great gluten free, vegetarian and vegan selection to choose from. The only downside is the wait for the burgers, else it would be an easy 5/5 stars. As it has been long each time we've been, but with such an extensive menu and how good the burgers are the wait is completely justified.Annie's is definitely worth the wait and I'd recommend booking as it's always busy

First time visit to Nottingham, saw a review on YouTube so thought we would give it a try. Staff were friendly & the shakes were good (although small for the price). We ordered the vegan chicken burger with Cajun wedges & a beef burger with sliced brisket, fries & a beef jus gravy. The vegan burger was very salty with little else taste wise. The wedges had very little seasoning and no crisp to them. The fries were over cooked & had to be eaten by hand as most broke when touched with a fork. The burger & brisket were both over cooked & dry, the gravy jus was the only saving grace to add moisture to the meat. The onion rings were ok, plenty in the portion. Hopefully this was a one off although we did see another table send their food back. Could not recommend from our visit.

I went to Annie's for the first time on 22/10/2021 and without doubt it was the best burger I have tasted.I had the New England Yankee burger and it was full of flavour and was well cooked. The portion sizes are generous and the price is great.Well worth a visit as you will not be disappointed

Food was really good, great place to bring all the family. All burger varieties made to suit vegan, vegetarian and meat lovers. Would have given 5 stars however wait for food and bill was quite long. Customer service was good but no memorable wow factor.
