Had a delivery tonight. I've never had a negative thing to say about Bombay but how things have changed after the lockdown. Onion bhajis over cooked and too stodgy. Nan bread very thick and stodgy, the lamb karhi wasn't karhi as it blew my head off it was that hit. It's supposed to be a delicate dish. Also was extremely salty. Won't bother again

I ordered a delivery after a long shift at work. It arrived quick enough however I had asked over the phone if the food I ordered was suitable for vegan, I asked it for each dish I ordered, the man confirmed it was ok for vegans. So by now they should have got the memo that I am vegan. They sent me dips with yogurt for the poppadoms and there was pieces of red meat bones in my main meal which was saag aloo. That was quite disgusting. It looks like they just took meat pieces out of it and called it vegan friendly 😣 other than that the meal was quite oily with a good layer of oil sitting at the top and the new potatoes were whole with the skin which means they didn't absorb any of the taste from the food which is a shame. I won't be confident ordering from there again because it doesn't seem they take dietary requirements seriously at all. If any doubt they should have told me they're not sure it is vegan, instead of saying yes and then it's not

Vile!!! Food description didn't match the food. A dhansak came that was watery and the colour of korma.. a dhansak is usually thick and made with daal. The dhansak had lots of lemon slices inside!? And was so sweet. The karahi paneer tastes like uncooked masalas. We are an Indian couple and know how Indian dishes should taste. Not like this tati.Very disappointed after such good reviews.

Excellent quality for a reasonable price. My husband's family are from India and he rates this highly as authentic Indian food. We really enjoyed the soft garlic and coriander naans, which were fresh and warm. The pilau rice was cooked perfectly and presentation was artistic. We really enjoyed it. Great value for money.

Food inedible! Delivery Staff Rude!!We ordered through the Deliveroo app an Indian Takeaway from Bombay to give me a break. As I have been cooking BIR (British Indian Restaurant) curries for the past 2 months and my wife thought it would be a treat to order from Bombay who we’ve had food from before.Place the order with detailed instructions on how to find us, only to have a call 40 minutes before the estimated delivery time saying, "I'm outside and I can't find you." The detailed instructions stated to enter the car park, park up, go through the large brown door and ring the intercom. On exiting the brown door, I found no car in the car park, I shouted to the driver and he walked round the corner saying I can't find you. I said this is the brown door (next to a 2-foot diameter external light), the driver sarcastically said, "all right, all right!"Plated the food up and both main meals had 6 very small pieces of chicken, a fraction of the previous portion from this takeaway. So much salt and pepper both mains were inedible, so bad we threw them away!I contacted Deliveroo customer support through the app and they said they will pass the comments on and nothing else could be done. I asked about the 2 main meal dishes that we threw away because they were inedible, nothing they can do!UTTER rubbish service from Deliveroo and the Bombay takeaway and we will never use this bunch of muppets again!

Excellent quality indian food. The ingredients always are fresh, aromatic and the meat is succulent and tasty. Bombay has been my number 1 Indian takeaway for 4 years and I haven't found a takeaway in Nottingham in all those years. Highly recommended
