Bonzai in Nottingham

The food was tasty, and the lunch menu is good value for money.However, our orders were wrong, came out at completely different times, the waiter was rude, doesn't accept card (red flag!), very cramped and all in all just a bit chaotic.Food was great but the service is a massive let down, so won't be returning.

Had an great birthday meal here with the restaurant accommodating a party of 6 with no reservation in our own private room! Food was amazing in terms of both quality and choice. Would definitely recommend.

Completely ruined a valentines meal. Food takes about 2 hours to arrive. Waiters/waitresses forget EVERYTHING. Was nearly 9 (booked for 8) by the time anyone took any form of order from us at all after asking multiple times. The only positive was the food. Otherwise appalling service. DO NOT RECOMMEND

I love the food here, really incredible. Great range of choice as well. Good place for a special celebration. Affordable and staff don't rush you. Can't wait to go again.

Sushi was lovely and food was decent. However, my main course was served ~20 minutes after (had to ask waiter where the food was) my friend's which was very dissapointing as I had to eat alone. Also had to wait quite some time to be served by the waiter when we first arrived. Food 4/5, service 1/5 - a good meal but tainted by poor service.

Very disappointing. Their fried chicken is at best the same level as some nuggets and the takoyakis weren't good at all.

Been here 3 times and it is the best sushi I have had, the fish and everything they use is always fresh! A lot of selection for food and drinks. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. We travel just over 50 miles one way for this. Definitely recommend if you love sushi!

Good pre-theatre dinner here. The tofu bento box was good, with crispy tempura and sweet tofu. But the ramen was a bit tasteless and the yaki udon were heavy and a bit greasy. The service was also a bit hit and miss with drinks.

Delicious food. The shushi is the best in town. I love the green dragon. I have been to both Nottingham and Leicester restaurant all I can say is the best Shushi place I've been. It is a must to go to this resto.

Very good sushi. Tasty, quick and simple set lunch menu was great value and perfect portion size for us. Great service and we’ll be returning for sure.
