Calcutta Club in Nottingham

We been here many times, and this is our Indian restaurant of choice. The atmosphere and food is excellent and very good service. On this occasion our starter came when we were still eating our poppadoms, a no no for us, so sent it back until we had finished our poppadoms. When we finished our starter we were asked when we would like our main, a nice touch we thought. If this had not happened it would have been 5 stars. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

It's been many years since we went back, and the food is still amazing! The staff were attentive, friendly, and efficient. The food flavourful. The place was busy from the moment we entered till we left which shows that we weren't the only fans! I feel it comfortably stands out from those that surround it and we look forward to coming back, probably for years to come!

Tasty food and great service. Definitely recommend. Plenty of food options to choose from on the menu. Bonus - they paid our parking for us at one of the NCP car parks next door which was fantastic 😊

Highly recommended food was great, decent portion sizes and the taste was awesome. Would have preferred the chicken saag to have had whole spinach rather than pureed but that was a small minus on what was a great experience. Good service as well, will be back 👍

Superb food and service in great surroundings. Staff friendly and attentive, wearing masks throughout. Food was first class with large flavoursome portions. Excellent atmosphere, looking forward to returning.

Spent the evening here with a large group of colleagues. Staff were very helpful, going out of their way to keep the drinks flowing, food was brought out on time, and there was no complaints. The chef cooked me something off menu which was absolutely delicious! A great vegan menu too - staff are very knowledgeable and attentive. A fairly intimate and low key setting, but the service, amazing food and attention to detail really make this place worth a visit. Will definitely be going again - Thanks a mill for the lovely evening!

We visited this place on Valentines day and I can safely say that it is a very royal and quality staffed restaurant. We ordered some drinks on the bar as we had to wait for some time to get a table and the lady at bar was very smiling and serving with pleasure.After getting a table we ordered chicken and prawns in starter and main course and everything was very delicious. Even though it was a very busy day the staffs were always looking after everyone.Loved this place.

Heard a lot to great things about this place and it's fair to say it did not disappoint from start to finish. We arrived early for our meal and had a drink at the bar to a very welcoming team and bat staff. Once we sat down, service and food was as good as you'd expect in any place, great menu and a extensive drinks menu all finished up with a lovely desert made with love and served with immaculate presentation. Would highly reccomend this restaurant and would visit once again!
