Chino Latino - Nottingham in Nottingham

Was really looking forward to this but I'm sorry to say it was a disappointment. The service was very slow (30 mins to get a drink) and the food came in dribs and drabs with, for example, sliced beef came at the end but absolutely nothing else - no rice, etc.Then asked for a taxi at the end of the night and was told bluntly that they don't do that... First time I've ever been told that at a restaurant.Food was ok but nothing special. Found the setting to be quite sterile.Overall, was pretty average.

I have visited this restaurant for years under many different styles of management. I've never been compelled to give such a poor rating however sadly it is badly managed or the staff just don't care. Waiting for drinks. Having to tell the staff to pour our champagne.... Seriously where is the attentiveness. Food not on the mark. This restaurant was for me the best in Nottingham, sadly today I wished I stayed at home and ordered a take away.

We ordered the plant based set menu. The food was delicious and was displayed beautifully. I would recommend if vegetarian to go for the set menu as you get to try all the veggie options on the menu. The service was great.

Lovely place and wonderfully helpful and polite staff. The steak on hot rocks is sublime and the sushi is always delicious. If I could have one wish, it would be for them to bring back the green beans with XO sauce.

Wonderful food with fresh ingredients. Great fusion. Great service. Limited wine choice but some gems.

Absolutely fabulous; from the atmosphere, to the food, to the service! My boyfriend booked this restaurant for our one year anniversary and we’re still trying to recreate this magical night we had 3 years down the line. Amazing!

Really helpful staff that knew exactly what we could and couldn't have due to an allergy. Really good food. Nice selection of drinks as well. Also welcomed me and partner (whose birthday it was) and gave us a dessert on the house for his birthday! Really lovely gesture, will definitely be going again.

It's great in Chino latino. The staff always treat you well and the food is fantastic ...so much that I forgot to photo my second course! Chino latino also made a surprise desert for my partner as it was her birthday. Great cocktails too.

It was amazing experience. The taste of food was superior. It was the most delicious sushi I have ever ate, steak, deserts was amazing too.. Will come again! And I wouldn't say that portions was small, it's in normal size, so you will not stay hungry.
