City Kebab House in Nottingham

Very average, the service is quick and staff are friendly but the food isn’t the best and not the most generous portions

If I could Give 0 stars i would just ordered 3 chicken kebabs and ive opened mine first to find a blac hair laying down on my tomato. Will never order again . Definetley deserve 0 hygine

One of the best doner kebabs in town. The french fries are spot on. Warm and crispy every time.Not too sure about the southern fried chicken though.Fast delivery. Friendly delivery driver. Generous portion. I have bought kebabs several times and it has been consistently good.

FIRST LET ME STATE THAT THE FOOD IS GOOD AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN BUT HERE IS MY ISSUE ....I ordered a week ago and when it arrived the women who was delivering my food rang me to come outside and collect it! I had a conversation for a few minutes trying to explain the whole point of contactless delivery, she eventually decided to drop it off at the door but there shouldn't of even been a issue. Its simple guidelines every business has to follow.Unfortunately this will be the last time i use this takeaway.

Awful - avoid like the plague (or cv19)! I Ordered a doner and chicken tikka naan.The naan was minute. The doner meat was, well i don't know what it was, but it didn't taste, look or smell like doner meat. The chicken tikka was just horrible shredded chicken, NOT tikka. If i could give this a negative rating I would. My challenge to find the worst kebab in Nottingham is close to completion!

During the Covid-19 pandemic I ordered some cheesy chips and left to found out they had not been added to my order. Heartbroken, I opened my bag at home, to find no cheesy chips. These are unprecedented times and I am deeply saddened.

Originally I gave this place a 4 star review then I took one more bite of their atrocious pizza which was riddled in grease and excess fatty cheese and I downgraded to a 2 star. There saving grace is there tikka kebab otherwise this would be a one star. Absolute disgrace

I ordered large kebab meals but received small!!!! The restaurant was not willing to either correct the mistake or refund the difference. So never again! I feel robbed.

Now I am a man who loves his chicken wings. Nobody loves chicken wings more than me. I tried this place out the other day and the wings were horrible. I usually eat any type of chicken wings, doesn't always have to be master chef level but this... this was too much for me to not say anything. The wings tasted off and not how chicken wings should taste. I don't know if it was the batter or the chicken itself but it wasn't nice. Please look into this.

Never been here before, maybe I got unlucky. Actually seen it had a decent rating before I entered after a fine night in mojo and was looking forward to my food. Ordered a lamb Shish and chips, walked out with a chicken shish and naan...Couldn’t be bothered to argue when the gentleman told me what I had ordered. Even though I know exactly what I did Order and it wasn’t the chicken Shish I had walked out with!Anyway regardless this review is about the chicken Shish which was awful!It had zero flavour Was burnt to a crisp and tasted like all food when its gone black from too much heat. Now being pissed like most customers will be, it should have tasted lovely(99% of kebabs do, however It was so bad I had no choice but to bin it on my walk to the taxi.
