This is a great pub 2 minutes from Wilfird village tram stop. Good food with a varied selection. Set on the bank of the Trent. This is an excellent place for meeting friends and chilling out. Lovely beer Garden, Great food, friendly staff, great choice of beers. Dog friendly bar area. One of the best pubs outside of the city.

We came here as a group of friends and had a great Sunday roast at the ferry inn yesterday. The service by Charlotte was polite and attentive, we felt like we were the most important people in the building with how well we were looked after. Thanks also to our chef Brandon, everything was cooked to perfection, everything was so flavourful! We will certainly make this our go-to place for roasts from now on.

Came in on the 19th of January, with my son. It was such a wonderful place. Atmosphere was calming. Served by Aaron, who is an always respectful, polite and has great service. Quick on his feet. Had meals and drinks to us quickly. Ferry was welcoming, as always. Always love coming in. Will be returning.

Absolutely amazed by level of service today, booked for my sons 30 birthday meal,7 adults one child,Not only were there issues of some description with each meal,ie trio of meat, nope only two choices, the vegetables couldn't get fork through the Brussels that were obviously frozen not fresh, and you couldn't chew the cabbage,,Then we get to the fact of service, time to get mains 40min,then we had to ask for pudding menu, and table to be cleared ,3 puddings ordered that took another 35 minutes,,The couple on next table sent all there meal back and if that not bad enough ,it wasn't the dish they ordered,No apologies from the staff that were visible on occasions, but a very poor representation of customer service in front of house,as well as food issues,...and then paid £141.for the privilege.Very disappointed 😞

Out with our friends. This place is where we always eat with them. What a lovely evening we had yesterday at the Ferry inn. Never fails to disappoint. The festive menu had began and although we hadn't booked for that it, it was offered to us. However recommend booking in advance for it as requested. It was absolutely beautiful and presented perfectly. We opted for turkey etc, however lots of other festive options. Would highly recommend. And thanks again to our Waitress Sarah. Always greets us with her beautiful smile and friendly personality. You are an absolute credit to the Ferry Inn Sarah.

We booked for 6 and we had 2 friends joining us last minute and we have been turned away. So 1 star because just it never happened to be before to be turned away for just 2 people add.I even asked to add 2 extra chairs to our table, they said there s no chairs available, but look at the picture

Had a beautiful Sunday roast last Sunday evening. Atmosphere was relaxing and the staff were very helpful and attentive. It was good to see Covid measures were still important to them, we felt very safe and had a wonderful evening. We will certainly visit again. Thanks!

Best pub garden on the south side of the Embankment. Bar service has resumed with plexiglass protectors. Staff were pleasant and efficient.A good range of lagers, ciders and beers and I was extremely pleased with the Sunday Lunch. I had the beef and my friend had Pork. Both were above expectation.Toilets were very clean.
