Fothergills in Nottingham

I had a delicious lunch here, I recommend the mussels, they were rich and delicious. They also have a wide range of beer on tap.

Turned up early they seated us still, told us what had ran out. Ordered drinks and Sunday dinner then the lady came back and said they had no meat left at 4.45pm on a Sunday. So all in all drove into town, parked, got cold walking there, no meat, got cold walking back to car, charged £5. Can’t get In anywhere else as you have to book. The irony…

Food is OK. They need to figure out how to coordinate app orders for the same table though. We all ordered separately so we didn't have to faff about splitting the bill. Some of us ordered starters as mains because they are big portions but when we asked the waitress if we could get them at the same time as the other main courses she said No. No checking with the chef etc. Just a straight no. Not great customer service. Also, be mindful that if you sit outside you're basically on a steep hill so your table & chairs will be sloping. Not the most comfortably seated meal.

Very good food .Sunday roast delicious and A for service . Lovely atmosphere.

We went at 3pm for a late lunch, and ordered in 15min but waited 1h to get the order and did not receive one of the dishes but they prepared the missing dish straight away and offered all the drinks. The young male waiter was very nice and friendly and tried to sort the delay the best way possible.The food was ok, average: we have ordered steak, bread with pork, chips and few drinks.

Went for a work meal with a client. Food was good and service great. We had pre-ordered so when food was brought out names were called and food placed quickly. Table kept clear of finished glasses erc too.

So.. Don't order the tofu noodles if you want a hot meal.. Its literally a salad with a few bits of noodles thrown in.. Its a lot of money for salad. I feel its misleading..

This is a great setting with many options for alfresco dining, indoor dining or something in between with the folding doors. Great for our climate. They are always welcoming to us and our little dog. The staff are actually great and the menu has everything we need, presented to a consistent high quality.

Awesome roast dinners. I had the vegeterain roast and it was delicious (roast menu is below) . The only bad thing was the started, mushroom and onion chutney. Disappointing for the price. But I def reccomend this place. The staff are lovely and food is great. You can order online now, see the qr code in the photos.
