This place is a honey trap! A quick 30 minute (mud-tasting) coffee in there cost me a £75 parking charge notice.You would think their dedicated car park would be free but they sneakily rent it out to Euro Car Parks as a revenue spinner and trick their customers into paying fines as it just looks a normal pubs free car park.I didn't see any obvious signs and I wasn't expecting their little car park to be pay and display, so they got me.

Have had breakfast here a few times.. and always been great. But this morning it really was not good. Very disappointed. Undercooked bacon.. butter was melted in its little container.. everything was pretty cold.

Lovely little Wetherspoons on the street that I was born on.... Actually the building is situated in the exact same place! Great drinks and good food, good prices, near to Nottingham Trent University...

5 stars outside of Uni term time, less during. You guessed it, I'm no longer a student.Bar staff very attentive but manager a bit odd.Good Wetherspoons with with windows you can watch drug dealing from...Ladies loos cd do with the plumbing looking at.

Walked from The Roebuck- only about 15 minutes. Smart exterior, especially with the plants and hanging baskets.Very quiet, possibly due to the lack of students who usually reside here. Not many ales on tap so I settled for a bottle of Devil's Backbone.If I return to the city, I'll go back to The Roebuck first and go from there.

Second best Wetherspoons in the city after the Roebuck. A student hive so can get very busy. Slightly outside the centre and I didn't know it existed until a few years ago. Nice layout with a decent outside area. Can have a lack of cask ales, which for a Wetherspoons is highly unusual.
