Really small place so did have to wait about 45 mins for our table which wasn’t an issue as we had a drink at the bar. Friendly service and pizza was well worth the wait 🙌🏼As others have said the toilets are absolutely gross & in desperate need of a refurb but if you can get past that then the pizza is fab!

Shockingly bad experience. We arrived about 10 minutes early for our booking at 9pm and were told that our table was still occupied, but we could wait in the bar area, which was fine. After 40 minutes, the group at our table had "just asked for the bill" and were "leaving soon". Another 30 minutes passed, and the other table had paid but hadn't left. Eventually, enough other tables had left that the staff could move two other tables together for us.The manager was unwilling to ask a table that had finished eating and had paid to move to the bar as there was another sitting as he "didn't want to rush anyone" but will happily keep you waiting for your table for over an hour.Once we had ordered pizzas, it turned out that they are only able to make two at a time, so it took quite a while for our whole table to get their food, undercooked as it was.Though the pizza was nice, there was far too much sauce, making them very soggy in the middle. When it came time to pay (past 11pm) most of the staff had gone home, so it took a while for us to find anyone to take payment. We did complain at the time and got a discount, hence the one star.On top of all that, the men's loos was one of the grottiest restaurant loos I have ever seen.

Had Happy Dough Lucky at the Ay-up Nottingham independent market last weekend. Great quality ingredients and the dough was soft and tasty. The guys serving were really friendly too. Oh, and the garlic aioli dip was totally worth it...

First time going here ! The owner is so so lovely !! The food was amazing and the service was exceptional ! Loved it!Only issue is the toilets need some attention!

·

Really good food but unfortunately a little understaffed so service could have been better. The quality of the pizza and drinks was so good and the chicken tenders were amazing, but we had a few bits forgotten and it was hard to get any help when needed as there was only one server on a fairly busy night. It’s understandable as the poor girl was stretched very thin amongst all the customers, but more staff is definitely needed.

Fantastic authentic pizza and amazing dough balls! Friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

Despite booking a table for 6pm, we were seated 40 minutes later after first being told they were just changing tables and then that the customers had just been given the bill. When we finally got our “table”, it turned out to be the windowsill and having been assured our pizzas would go to the front of the queue, we waited a further 25 minutes to receive the pizzas.

·

Nottingham's best Neapolitan pizzas! Using fresh Italian ingredients, Happy Dough Lucky is a restaurant straight out of Naples! The dough, sauce and Fior Di Latte is top quality. The atmosphere is unrivalled transporting you to Italy!

·

Incredible pizza & fantastic customer service - well worth the (really reasonable) price! Great quality ingredients and SO different to any chain takeaway pizzas, in the best way. Proper taste of Italy in your own home

Best pizza, best vibe, hands down a must eat in Notts. Check it out for yourselves, it's without doubt the best Pizzas in Nottingham
