4 of us visited tonight. In a nutshell the service was very slow, apparently they were having an issue with the dumb waiter, three of the meals were fine but the steak one of us ordered was very poor. Very grisly and not cooked properly. They did take the steak meal and the painfully slowly served sweets off the bill. So generally a bit disappointing 😕

Visited on a Saturday night and the food was okay but the service was very slow and inattentive. In particular it took about 30 minutes to get the bill after having to get up to ask for it. In addition, one glass had lipstick on it and my main had a long black hair on it. Overall, this place does have a lovely interior, a cosy, authentic feeling environment and a great menu selection, but just a shame the execution was poor.

Excellent meal and staff very pleasant. Portions are quite generous.

Tasty food, polite service. Tables are a bit close together though

Super cool hidden place with nice mussels ! Must try. As it’s hidden, feels like you’re actually in Belgium or France.

We attended this venue at 3pm on a Wednesday and enjoyed a lovely quiet late lunch. The decor was typically French which we really enjoyed, adding to our experience.Once seated we were given time to peruse the fantastic menu and their equally amazing specials board. Neither the menu nor the specials boards were overloaded, which was a good indication that whatever we chose would be of high quality and fresh. We were certainly not disappointed with our choices, they were absolutely amazing. The staff were fantastic, just the right level of polite, friendly and attentive. Their service gave us the oportuniy to enjoy a very relaxing meal and time to talk. The prices for items on the menu and specials boards are very reasonable for the quality which we experienced. We will definitely be returning to this venue and making it a regular treat.

Really disappointed since it came so highly recommended to me. The 'room' the place is in is super cramped and isn't the cleanest either.I ordered the pork and it had no flavour at all. It was like chewing on rubber. The vegetables which came with it had obviously been boiled then dumped on the plate because they also had zero flavour. I asked for a small bowl of French onion soup so I could have at least something to eat that night. But even that was a disappointment. Just brown water with chopped onion and again, no flavour. The waiting staff however were very lovely and were very apologetic to me and my friend as we left.

This little French restaurant is hidden away and has a nice cosy atmosphere. The menu is well priced, and looking through the menu I wanted to eat most things. We had a three course Christmas special. Most of the things were nice, but my salmon was over-cooked, but others had no complaints. Portions were very large, and service was good!

A gorgeous hidden gem. The decor is amazing, but not nearly as tasty as the food is.The interior has the brick work showing with cute French posters hanging from the wall, it's almost like being transported away from Nottingham and to a local French bar.The menu is sublime, the food is beautiful, the portions are a good size, and the cost is only around £10-£15.The staff are very friendly, even stopping for a little chat after the meal had finished.

Fantastic French food in a lovely tucked away location in the centre of Nottingham. Has a friendly welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant was fully booked when we ate there but it wasn't overcrowded and the level of attention by the staff was fantastic, they were attentive without being intrusive. The food was great and I'm getting hungry thinking about it now! It arrived hot and tasty after a short wait. We ordered off the main menu but the specials also looked good. It's the sort of place where you'll love what you ordered but also wish you'd ordered what everyone else around you has ordered! I think I've decided on what I'll have next time I go!The wine list is extensive and the bottle we had was very nice.If you're thinking about trying it you won't be disappointed!
