Absolutely blown away tonight. This meal surpassed expectations! Everything tasted amazing and unique. The portion sizes were perfect! Options available no matter your dietary requirements, and so flavourful! I really thoroughly enjoyed the meal tonight, I am so excited to come back. So glad I go to try it out!Also, honourable mention to our waitress Ayah who went above and beyond and was an absolute pleasure!!Cannot recommend enoughUpdate:Ive been here many different occasions now and tried menus for the last 3 seasons and it’s always amazing. Have been wanting to come here since it opened! Finally was able to go on Friday and it definitely did not disappoint. Some amazing food, good portions and all at reasonable price. Definitely worth a trip!

First time here and it won't be the last, really delicious food. We had the mackerel with gochujang glaze and sichuan lamb from the large plates, then the lincolnshire poacher fries and charred gem lettuce with tahini (highlight) from the small plates. With a bottle of the house red it came to £30 each, which is reasonable for the quality. Great service with friendly staff too.

Cannot fault this absolutely incredible place. Some of the best we’ve ever eaten in our lives! You can really taste every single ingredient listed on the menu, and we’ve never experienced anything like it. AMAZING value for money considering the quality, freshness and diversity of the flavours! We will absolutely be back every single time the menu changes, this is one of our favourite eats in Nottingham & somewhere we will gladly visit time and time again. Also gifted us a crème brûlée as it was my birthday which was so kind considering they had more or less only just opened - extremely attentive wait staff and the chefs are geniuses! Can’t wait to come back and experience more exciting flavours. 10/10

Best place to eat in Notts ! The quality of both the food & service at this restaurant is second to none. Even the fries .. the simplest item on the menu are insane. Well worth a try, you will NOT be disappointed.The size portions are more than generous for the price tag, I recommended you get booked in ASAP before they’re booked out! Incredible.

Absolutely blown away by our dining experience at Mesa.There's only one reason why there's no photos to show of the food and that's because it barely hit the table before it was finished!My wife, some friends and I ordered (pretty much) the entire menu and Marcus is really onto a good thing with Mesa.The food is refined, yet accessible and reasonably priced. All these factors combined really distinguish the restaurant from other stops in Nottingham.The Sriracha / Caramel Chicken Wings with burnt lime and Charred Spring Onions, were easily the best wings and spring onion we've ever eaten in our lives!On top of that, the service was fantastic - with all of our servers being very attentive without being intrusive.We can't wait to try the new menu!

Really nice new restaurant in Nottingham. I’d heard a lot of hype surrounding Mesa so was keen to try it. A group of us shared a few dishes on the menu and these were all brilliant and enjoyed by all. My favourites were the Sriracha caramel chicken wings and the lamb flatbreads. The side dishes all went down a storm too, particularly the Turkish chilli peppers and the leeks. Great food, beers and atmosphere. Well done!

You will not be disappointed! Incredible food and amazing service. That’s all you ask for right! I have visited twice so far and counting, I will definitely be going back again. I recommend to all my friends and try to visit with as many of them too. Personable, friendly team of people. Should all be very proud. Keep up the good work

Fantastic looking restaurant, great décor with a high quality finish, spacious without feeling empty, the open kitchen is great for both seeing the dishes being prepared and visible high cleanliness standard continues throughout the restaurant and kitchen alike.Excellent service and staff were very friendly and attentive.Food was all done to a very high standard, all seasoned and executed extremely well. The portions allow for both sharing plates or if desired to have a couple of plates as a main meal for a very reasonable price, especially considering the quality of ingredients and attention to detail on every dish.Will definitely be returning again in the future and would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for somewhere new in Nottingham!Would highly recommend going for sharing plates and sampling most of the menu especially on your first visit!
