Always a lovely dinner and excellent service from Mike and the team at Mayfair. We visit a few times a year for birthdays and celebrations, and it's always a great night out.BYOB is pretty unusual these days and it's really appreciated, as gives our big group of friends the flexibility to bring what they like to drink. The hot & sour soup, the vegetable lettuce wraps and the salt & pepper tofu are all excellent. The ribs are always popular too.Mayfair is a Nottingham institution. Go, you won't be disappointed!

Always a pleasure to eat at this most precious gem of fine Chinese food with the best salt & pepper ribs ever !! Sometimes the basic homely decor hides the true traditional cooked food that shows with passion & taste whenever we visit. Thanks for looking after us all earlier Mike, a fabulous host without complaint. 5* review a must go for anyone desiring good honest well priced Chinese food that's simply out of this world.

What a great surprise. In an old terraced house but great food with a friendly atmosphere. Full of locals when we visited, always a good sign.
