Decided to go here tonight based on a recommendation from a family member for our anniversary. I was very disappointed for many reasons!! We were the only two people in the restaurant and we were made to feel like we where putting the staff out by serving us, the price for two cokes were £7.99 which I thought was very expensive. The staff were rude. When we asked them a question regarding portion sizes for the rice they completely ignored us. We where also half way through our food when asked if we were done! I can’t recommend this place and we’re not made to feel welcome. I will not be returning.

The staff were very nice and welcoming. The food was okay, some curries were sweet which isn't to my liking and also not the common way to cook curries. Starters were really good, wings, Samosas. And we had a very good time overall.

Went for a meal this evening for my Aunty’s birthday and the food was delicious. I had the butter chicken and the chicken was cooked to perfection, everything came out hot and fresh. Prices were good and the staff were fab, they were a little quick to take our plates whilst one or two were still eating but nothing to cry about. The lady/owner (sorry I didn’t get her name) was very lovely and actually brought out a little chocolate cake which was a very appreciated surprise! Did miss the hot towel at the end of the meal but overall, we all had a great evening. Would recommend and will definitely be back. Thank you very much!

It's been a while since I last dined here but it's still a great dining experience. Great food, great value and excellent customer service.

Out to celebrate a friends birthday 3 tables only occupied on a Saturday night should of rang alarm bells. Only 1 salmon available for starter when more people wanted salmon. Cocktails flat as anything with a fusty taste. Coke given in lager pint glasses.Butter chicken came out looking and smelling like sick sent back twice wad definitely off.2 of of us was sick 3 of us had direah. Not wheel chair friendly. Wouldn't recommend and would definitely not return.

Having traveled to more than 30 countries this past year, this restaurant is one of my favorites. Amazing and authentic cuisine, reasonable prices, and a staff that is friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to travel to Nottingham again to try something new there. I sampled a different dish every night over the course of a week, and was never disappointed. Definitely worth trying if you haven't been!

Visited recently for the first time in years. The service was excellent as usual, but the food is unfortunately not what it used to be. Poppadoms didn't seem fresh, curry was nice but not amazing, rice portions definitely a lot smaller now too. It used to be one of the best in town for a curry, but unless I just went on an off night I'd say it's pretty average these days.

The food was superb but the service .....was even better!!!Came here 30 years ago when I was a student at university...still the same taste and this time round.. It truly felt more like a homecoming!! Very pleasant surprise!! Such nice people! Will be back... especially since my son is attending the same University.Highly recommend!!

Such a great place to dine out. The food was just brilliant, makes me want to move back to the Midlands, the home of great curry. Oh and the wall of celebrity photos is a hoot.
