Mowgli Street food in Nottingham

Great location and nice interior.Food is OK but a bit bland maybe because they have to cater for the masses.Not to our taste though sorry.Does get very busy in the evening.There are better independents around town.

Ambience is unique and superb🤩. However for typically Indian taste food I would give 4/10. As all dishes were SWEET🤷🏼 whether it's Mowgli paneer or Butter chicken or chat bombs all were sweet dishes.I saw reviews regarding services that it is best however, when I and my friends visited we feel the service was unsatisfactory☹️

Absolutely fantastic service atmosphere & most importantly food.Cheese on Toast & the Tarmaid treacle chips just sounded so wrong so we had to try, both realky tasty but rather filling which didn't leave much room for our Tiffin (one veg & meat) again both great & good portion size so a bonus doggy bag for lunch tomorrowGreat value & will be back very soon

What a place! What an experience! Just absolutely fantastic food, prices and service.For someone who’s been brought up on Indian food, going out for an Indian is not a novelty but going out for an Indian that does it so well is an exciting privilege!!! Mowglis does it right in every way. The service is second to none. The authentic food is cooked to perfection. The prices are very, very reasonable and the experience is one you won’t find anywhere else. The founder deserves so much credit and a medal! Thank you for bringing the street food taste of Indian to the cities of UK 🇬🇧.If your looking for a place to eat and/or struggling for a decent restaurant with fine dining experience, look no further. Mark my words, you will not be disappointed. If you get the opportunity to sit at a swing, your in for a treat to, it just enhances the whole taste!Enjoy 😉

Nice vibes, halal chicken. Had the sticky sesame wings which were not that great. Had the paneer which was amazing. The mocktails are to die for. We did have to wait a bit for a table to become available but not too long. We were served by ruby who was absolutely lovely and made our day.

Lovely little restaurant, amazing food! Cute swing seats! Great service from friendly staff, and they gave us free dessert because it was our anniversary!

Great atmosphere and nice staff, but the only reason you would come here is because of the aesthetics for instagram lol. Genuinely terrible food. Terrible and dry chapati. The Tadka Dhal which is a real Indian staple was bad. Wet chillies used instead of dry ones, the lentils were undercooked and it wasn’t reduced enough. The chick peas were also quite hard. The paneer was OK. Hard rice. Everything was either overdone or severely underdone. A lot of these foods you’d expect to make in bulk, and therefore taste good. Store bought curries in packets from Waitrose or Soul taste far better. But this restaurant is clearly for social media photos. It’s also incredibly expensive. £7 on average for a tiny dish, and they recommend 3/4 dishes per person. Not good!

Lovely variations on Indian Street food and interesting fusions served almost tapas style with a few dishes per person it's a really exciting and interesting way to grab dinner or lunch. The place is clean and sitting on rope swings adds a huge element of fun. Top works guys will definitely be back!

Oh dear - what a great place!! By coincidence we ran into it and didn’t regret coming here. The mixed menues were excellent and super delicious 😋 also the bread varieties were of good taste and the atmosphere is also outstanding.

Had a really fantastic time at Mowgli. Lovely interior design and nice atmosphere. The food was unreal, definitely one of the best eating out experiences I’ve had. Each dish was unique and had so many different flavours, it was great. Also, the staff were very helpful and ensured that we had a nice time. Thoroughly recommend.
