Rickshaw do an amazing biryani which I have found hard to come by at other places. The people are lovely, the food is amazing and I was offered a mango lassi to try free of charge which was a very thoughtful gesture, I have never had one before but it was really refreshing!

We went to the take away in Sherwood, where we were able to sit at a table to eat our meal. The food was authentic and delicious, served with a smile. Our order arrived quickly and was piping hot. The staff were friendly and polite. The place was spotlessly clean.

Just ordered my usual vegan curries and sides from Rickshaw. The food is always full of flavour and you can tell the chef’s use top quality fresh ingredients when preparing the food. Today I ordered in the restaurant to take home and didn’t have to wait long at all. The customer service was excellent aswell and the girl at the till with brown curly hair (not sure what her name is) was great at advising me and delivered great customer service. Well done - I will be ordering my regular again as usual.

Place has gone down hill, used to come here for lunch used to get a Decent portion of Biryani for £8. Went in this time for the same portion trying to charge me £11 the guy behind counter then went and took half of the portion out basically a bowl size of biryani. Rip off. Won’t be going back!!!!

Great street style inspired food. Good care with food presentation and good taste. The papdi chaat is pretty good. The girls at front of staff are generally friendly but even they don’t have good knowledge of the food offered.

The food overall was between average & good. I ordered seekh kebab, grilled chops, chicken biryani, chicken heatwave and samosa chaat.I must say there grilled stuff is very good. Chicken Dum Biryani is definitely over rated. Will never buy Biryani from here. It has so much masala in it that it's difficult to eat it.. i only took few bites until there were some white rice to combine the flavours and it lasted maybe for hardly 4 bites.. so had to throw away the the rest as over masala (im not talking about the spice level, by masala i mean very saucy), chilli chicken heatwave was good and I would rate it 4 out of 5, samosa chaat was served in Kraft Brown Box hence absorbed the yogurt and gravy from Chaat and became very Soggy. You may love it if you love tangy flavor. I like it more spicy than very tangy.Salad was missing at all, I really missed it as it should have come with grilled stuff. The food overall is good but I think there grilled stuff must be very good especially if you eat it there. Very pleased with the kebab. Kebab 5/5, rest is average but Biryani is 0/5, Sorry. To help you understand this review, I am an Asian Pakistani and giving my review as a Pakistani Foodie, knowing the flavours of Pakistan.People of other nationalities may not agree with me however, any Pakistani can benefit from this review in making future orders.Rest, food definitely on time and hot delivered. No issues with delivery at all. Very polite delivery girl.

I am living in Nottingham and whenever I have to go out for dinner the first restaurant which comes in my mind is 'Rickshaw Indian Kitchen'. I love almost everything which I tried. Service is very good. As a whole this is the only restaurant which improvise as per your taste buds. To all indians out there "Please ask them to make your menu hot" else you end up with disappointment.

What a shame. Used to be a great takeaway but now,I’m not too sure what’s happened. No sauce forthe biryani so it’s very dry. The side dishes are, well, average at best. I appreciate that you may be busy but don’t drop your standards Rikshaw. Unfortunately won’t be ordering from here again or recommending them to family and friends.
