Riverside Farm in Nottingham

Wow. Just had the most amazing carvery , all the veg was well cooked, super tasty, piping hot and freshly made. The gravy was perfect too. I would highly recommend this gem of a restaurant if you want the best carvery in Nottingham at a very reasonable price.

Absolutely shocking experience this morning 18.03.2022 came in for breakfast served by possibly the rudest women I've ever met we have eaten at a lot of farmhouse inns and this was by far the worst! How can a company not accommodate children is beyond me no children's option for breakfast why? The food was awful everything was running out what was left was dry and not overly warm! Most farmhouse inns allow u too make your own toast not this place I would advice you to order a week in advance if you want it with breakfast. The entire experience was awful will not be back

Decided that I couldn't be bothered to cook so came here for dinner.It was great! Carvery for less than £10. Hubby and (adult) daughter both had ice cream 🍦 😋Service was good. Staff friendly and helpful.Will definitely go again.

First time there, staff were excellent, very friendly. Never felt rushed Had the root veg pie and chips, cooked well, didn't have to wait too long, followed by the biggest sticky toffee pudding which was fantastic! Would definitely go back.

We tried the Carvery and it was really good! The food quality is high and the service was exceptional. Jo was attentive, caring and really friendly. We are new to the Nottingham area and will definitely be returning as regular customers.

Reading reviews on here like ‘they didn’t have sirloin steak’ and ‘poor vegan choices for a carvery’ 1 star. Pathetic.Great staff good environment and cheap prices. Don’t listen to these childish reviews.

Absolutely terrible my dad came for a mixed grill and they didn’t have it. He’s absolutely fuming he said he has morals. (I don’t know what that means) but he’s angry because he was starving and he wanted a mixed grill. We ordered him a steak and he sent it back.Update - a few minutes later they came to us and they had no sirloin steaks. He absolutely furious he said he won’t return back.Update on the update - came and asked if we wanted eggs with my steak which is very silly. Everyone also has had there food and my poor dad is still waiting2 week update- my dad is still sat at table 23 waiting for his steak to be delivered

The carvery food was cooked to perfection and in my honest opinion outstanding value for money It was my first time and to be honest I literally visited based on good reviews.I particularly liked the care and attention the manager gave to customers and making sure the dining experience was just that little bit special.Would definitely recommend this eating establishment.

First visit to Riverside Farm. And going on today's experience it certainly won't be our last. Met at the door by a charming member of staff, shown to table , he explained our the restaurant was running because of covid. Waitress was very nice and friendly and she couldn't do enough. The Christmas fayre meal was very nice, choice of 3 meats, fresh vegetables and big Yorkshire puddings. I was very impressed with the food and attentive staff. Toilets clean, plenty of hand sanitizer at different points. Large car park. Close to Riverside retail park. With shops such as Boots, B&Q, Home Bargains.

Standard carvery serving pub, food was good.Breakfast buffet is on a only go once thing. Me I was happy with that, got given a small plate instead of standard but was still well filled up.Unlimited toast helped although the lack of marmalade is reflected in my score.A very very special mention to staff member Michelle, who was amazing at breakfast, and when I returned later in the evening was still working, clearly tired and exhausted but still offering her beautiful smile and customer service. 🎩 Take it off to you
