After ordering my dinner there is a 45 minute wait. The advertising price is only a standered meal so I paid a bit more for the larger meal. Very nice meal but did not get a lot of Beef on plate.Got extra gravy boat free. For the price I paid good value for money.

Wonderful, the steak and ale pie was wonderful, and the large plate of gammon ( 3x 5 Oz) was superb. The staff and service was perfect and polite, if only other Greene King pubs were like this. We enjoyed it so much that we forgot to take photos. Thank you.

I have been four times in the last few months and each time has made me feel on edge with how rowdy the clientelle are. The food was just bog standard what you would expect, the staff are ok but not very attentive to who has been waiting to be served often serve other people before you if you are not vocal you are next. I personally would recommend other places for beer quality, food and atmosphere in sherwood and surrounding areas.

Booked online for 6 with a confirmation but arrived and were told there was no room, very disappointing with 4 hungry children! Rude manager who failed to apologise, definitely won't be going back.

Just had a fabulous time with my grandchildren/family here the food and staff were excellent food piping hot staff checking on us to make sure everything was ok highly recommend going here for food or even for a during really good atmosphere

Yh not bad pub .. seemed friendly enough.. Nice area.. no trouble and service good.. only think I didn't like was the lack of effort put into the mulled wine was obviously a cheap bottle put in which was very disappointing but other than that nice enough

Booked table for 14.00 arrived early we were Hungry so the staff let us order early instead of waiting Had the Roast beef Dinner was absolutely amazing for the price Staff were friendly went to town and stopped on way back for another drink highly recommended in my view

Lovely pub very friendly staff the food was fantastic especially the chicken new yorker it was amazing. I would highly recommend it. The pub is all set up for the Euros with all the flag banners out.
