The Bakehouse has kept our company fuelled on multiple occasions & they never cease to impress. The Bakehouse is not just a gem of Sherwood or Nottingham, its a gem for the whole of Nottinghamshire, providing some of the finest food & drink available.

This is a great spot to eat breakfast or lunch, all the bread is home made. Service is friendly and efficient with ample seating outside.

I am a big sourdough fan and have been searching for the best sourdough I can find in the UK - It is a little unbelievable that the best sourdough I have ever tasted is right in Sherwood, Nottingham! The classic sourdough is great, with good crust and strong sour taste. The garlic & herb sourdough is also excellent and is my favorite. Yes they are slightly more expensive but the price is reflected by the high quality bakery they produce. Breakfast is good too. If you are in search of the best sourdough, you should give this a try.

Terrible service. Took your order then wandered around aimlessly with plates of food. If they couldn't find who the food belonged to they would just donate the food to the nearest table. Our table had 3 extra plates, which was someone else's food. 55 minutes after ordering my food still hadn't come but other people on my table had orded, eaten and looking at desserts. I went to see where food was they said they couldn't find me, although they found the other 9 people my group, it was still another 20 minutes. Then when the food came, we asked for cutlery we were rudely told that we had go go and fetch it from the end of the restaurant. However there was only 2 knives and 1 fork. When asked for more by a member of my party, we were huffed. I don't u derstand how this place isn't loosing money and customers, wasn't a great experience 😒

Love Love Love this place what a find! Although I live in St Ann’s it’s become my local spot for GOOD coffee and DIVINE bread and pastries!!If you haven’t been, GO! You won’t be disappointed! Also the service is first class!

Brilliant food and coffee. Loved the bacon and the cheese scone. Contender for the best breakfast in Nottingham.

I hadn't been back to The Bakehouse since lockdown, but was very pleasantly surprised. Its bakery products have always been first class but the lunch menu hasn't usually piqued my interest. But not any more. Spoiled for choice!

This review is left during covid lockdown 2021.The time was morning and it was not busy.I ordered a vegetarian breakfast and oat milk cappuccino.The good: food was well cooked well, bread was fresh and tasty, mushrooms tastes amazing ( fried and flavourful) and we're good quality.The bad: food was served in cardboard box and was warm not hot, the bread came pre oiled/buttered, the coffee was slightly burnt,The discussion: The premises were clean and filled with the delicious smells of a bakery. I sat outside in the warm sunshine, the staff were friendly but seemed rushed with little apparent reason for them to be so. The food was good quality but a little expensive for it to come in a take out box.Conclusion: This is a place worth revisiting, next time I will try their baked products rather than their menu items.

The Bakehouse is INCREDIBLE!! Small but cosy and a handful of tables so I'd recommend booking. We went for breakfast, was a great atmosphere and service was quick and friendly. We are big coffee lovers and the coffee was spot on.. probably the best I've tasted in the UK actually. The breakfast... Oh my the breakfast! We had the full English which had locally sourced meats, very tasty baked beans & the best sour dough bread! Much more on the menu which I look forward to trying as we'd 100% be returning! Also quite fancy the lunch and supper menus too😋
