If you have a "halloumi and mushroom" burger on your menu it should probably have mushroom in it.'Seasoned rice' is a joke, the rice has never seen a seasoning in its life, not even salt. The grilled vegetables are also a bad idea, just a single piece of broccoli, a greasy almost raw piece of pepper, onions, a sad grilled tomato half and mushrooms (so they clearly hadn't run out for the burger...).And it's all so over priced. Yikes.

A steak diner next to a 'rep' hotel that are on expenses so don't care their meal is over priced. On my visit, they had run out of...-Fries-Peppercorn sauce-Bacardi.My guest had the blue cheese sauce on her steak. It was cold. As in, intentionally. She tells me this isn't normal. Not somewhere I'll go again

We could see Our meal sat waiting to be brought to our table for 10 minutes. The waitress cleared 4 tables then sprayed them before chatting to the barstaff. When we asked for fresh meals they only had one pie left and we had to reorder, disgusting service, we normally go to Millers Barn where the staff are efficient

You get what you pay for £10 breakfast. Service is average, no frills. I wont be going back, fullstop! I don't like being treated as though they're doing me a favour .hmmm...I bet they've never been tipped!

I would rate minus 5 if I could, one of the worst experience eating out ever. No greeting on entrance, waited for 20 min for orders to be taken even for drinks, restaurant wasn’t busy at all, we finished a bottle of prosecco before starters arrived, waited for main course for 1h 30 min, we didn’t have cutlery on the table for kids and us, asked twice for it, but we were ignored. My friend had to eat T-bone steak with table knife, we asked manager for it, her reply was:”it had to come from the kitchen”. Food is very poor quality, staff and management need training of how to run their duties. Customers next to us found a nail in their mashed potatoes, so you could understand how we were “excited” or our orders. Very poor service in general from entering the building and leaving.

Often here (maybe twice a week). Service is always excellent, special mention to Diane and George (hope you get a reward for that). They are always friendly and make sure the food is excellent before it leaves the pass.

Paid £55 per head for Christmas day lunch. Started off well with a nice starter but portions for lunch were disappointing. Lamb was full of fat, yes lamb is a fatty meat but one serving was all fat and returned. We paid for extra sides, again disappointing amounts and quality. Christmas pudding was so small and thin. Christmas tree pudding was disgusting. Under staffed and some staff weren't bothered about guests being aware of this. Unfriendly staff and all round unhappy experience. Will not be returning and will advise anyone else to avoid.

Not a fantastic experience sadly. We had to wait quite a while for our drinks order then even longer for our food. I told them I had an allergy to black pepper and the waitress said I don't think we use it . I had to ask her to go and double check which she did.. and they have black pepper in the sausages... Good job I asked to check as I had ordered the mixed grill. They kindly replaced my sausages with an extra chicken breast, however it was enemic and tastless :-( the other chicken on dishes looked lovely and grilled, I think mine had been poached in water. I was also expecting a huge dinner as I'd seen my partner order mixed grills before and they were massive but sadly the portions weren't what I expected especially for £16.99. I ate all of mine no problem. When the waitress asked if we wanted dessert menus I jumped at the chance as was still hungry. I almost wished I hadn't of bothered as for nearly £6 my dessert was a little ball of mousse covered in dark chocolate.... didn't come with any side options of ice cream etc. Very expensive for what you got. The service was ok. The toilets however... the dryer is practically over the sink and when you put the tap on not only does it splash everywhere but the dryer automatically starts. Definitely didn't think that one through. Would we go again... not sure.

Good roast. I got a lot of food for my money. Roast chicken was tasty, cauliflower was a little underdone, peas not the sweetest, but stuffing and gravy good and Yorkshire puddings were delicious. Had to wait a while before they let us in for lunch. A bit understaffed, I feel.

Having stayed at the Premier Inn while working away this was the food option, the evening service was excellent the member of staff was friendly and very helpful and the food was very good however the morning was a different story I was greeted by a member of staff with their facemask around their chin, the Porridge was served without any honey as it should have been, no sauces were given at the start as most (good) Premier Inn pubs do and my toast was given without any butter so I had to ask for some and when it eventually arrived my toast had gone cold.I get that things have to be done differently during these times but some Premier Inn pubs do the whole process a lot better which is surprising as their all part of the same group, the best ones give you a selection of sauces and conserves at the start when they bring you your drinks over which limits the interaction with the staff member, I guess some restaurants don't do this to try and save money yet they still charge the same 🤷.
