Very nice little Curry house! Food was incredible. Though staff were a little sneaky by trying to charge us for bottled water!

Recommended by family who used to visit regularly, whilst on a little weekend away. There are lots of Indian restaurants in the city and many just on this street, so why here??Well as soon as we tasted the mango chutney with our poppadoms we knew why! I would say the best mango chutney I've ever tasted.A few must mentions:Lamb chop starter - unbelievable, the flavour and cookery, it literally melted in your mouth.Chicken thigh starter - again the chicken was flavoursome, tender and juicy, melted in the mouth. I would just say this was slightly too spicy for my taste but I enjoyed regardless (it is rated as 2 chilli's on the spiceometer so my fault)Murgh methi main - I've never had a curry where the chicken in it remains as juicy, moist and tender as this did. The flavours were incredible. Definitely the best I've had from any Indian restaurant in the UK.Peshwari naan - always my go to but this was another level! incredible. The lady who I presume is in charge out front was lovely, her service was perfect. Attentive but not too intrusive. All the staff that served us were polite and friendly. If you're in the area myself and my partner would 100% recommend you visit this place!

There is a nice variety of dishes with some nice flavours and spices. A bit more thoughtful than many more mundane Indian menu's. Reasonably priced. Though many Indian restaurants appear to have significantly raised their prices recently, at Cumin, it is in the acceptable category. Staff are very attentive and help to make it an informative and pleasant dining experience. Can get a little loud with large groups, so maybe screens or quiet areas would help.

Really lovely food, beautifully flavoured... with great portions; main courses are plenty for two people.Family-run & very friendly; service is important... as is customer satisfaction. Very close to Nottingham Castle & City Centre.Highly recommended when in Nottingham!

Dined at Cumin on New Years Eve with my partner and it was such a lovely time! The ambience was delicate, a perfect setting for a date!! Highly recommend their bhuna gosht and the seafood platter 😍 and for vegetarians - pls try the samosa chaat and chole! Lovely service, good people. You will definitely find me coming back here!

It was a quiet Tuesday, but this place is lovelySolo dining and the restaurant was just near my hotel and had a vegan menu so the perfect choice.Indian food is by its nature often vegetarian, but it’s good to see a restaurant offering a full vegan menuOkra fries and dip for starterTava Aloo Raviya for main with chips and chapatisThe bill came to around £26 including a service charge, which is great valueGood choice and would eat here again if on the

We came on a Friday night and it was fantastic. The service was great and the food was even better. We even received free ice cream for the children.

·

It wasn't the best experience. My chicken wasn't cooked properly, I could see the blood and the prices are to high for what we had. With that amount of money we could go two times to better places in town. The costumer service was really good but unfortunately it will be a place I will not return.

My sister organized my graduation dinner at The Cumin. The food was amazing! The level of spice was just right and not overwhelming. The poppadoms were the best I have ever had. The ambiance was friendly and inviting. The service was great, accommodating and flexible. Overall it was an enjoyable experience which I would highly recommend.
