Lovely chilled out pub with interesting surroundings and good beer selection.

An old music hall that feels like you're inside an ancient ship. Great for Sunday lunch with fantastic live jazz. Family friendly and very chilled atmosphere

A great little find this place is, great genuine relaxed atmosphere and good beer choice. Went on a Sunday and only Roast Dinners available- having said that my Roast Beef was very nice. Have returned on a Saturday evening and the food menu is simple but the food is delicious, loved the pitted olives as a side dish. Worth seeking out. M

A fantastic looking place, slightly hidden away up St James's Street. Nice range of beers on the go with its own unique layout, over two floors. Definitely worth several visits.

Wow! What an amazing building!Restored old music hall with lots of original features. Good selection of craft beers too.Covid safe and test and trace implemented

Great find. Old music hall that has been transformed into a pub but still has events.eg gin festival and music. Has a studio downstairs and caves I think barman said but we just were in for an evening drink. Great atmosphere decent prices and much better than Weatherspoons over the road 🙂

A cracking good pub with a good selection of beers, wines and spirits. There is live music and entertainment on from time to time, check out their website for more information. The place can get pretty busy towards the end of the week. It is a rather middle class clientele visiting and if you go earlier than the busy evening periods it is also family friendly. There is an upstairs seating area which in my honest opinion superior to the downstairs section - purely just because of the view you get of downstairs from above. And you will be much closer to the very bright half glass roof.

Re-opened, excellent! Added a whole range of craft beers and no horrid changes. Several real ales on tap and craft cider now. For those that have not heard of this place before it is an old music hall with a classic glass arched roof, a upstairs balcony , a stage and tours of the basements ( no idea of what is down there). Always been a good place. Slightly dodgy wooden floor which is heavier people can feel moving but nice looking.
