Sunday dinner was amazing today and another warm welcome! Plenty of craft beers to choose from. This pub is right on the canal and there is outdoor seating canal side ! Warm, bright and clean. Dog and human friendly ! We will return!

After finally giving up on the ever deteriorating Vat & Fiddle, The Navigation has become this seasons haunt for pre match beers. Great well kept ales, lovely interior and welcoming staff. Took the missus in today, she loved it too. Had an unplanned Sunday Roast, absolutely beautiful. My kinda pub....

Happen to stop by this place twice on my business travels. The vibe inside feels welcoming and relaxing. The food menu is varied and has something for everyone. My amazing Dirty burger came with chunky cut chips, which were home made, and tasted to perfection. Great friendly staff, and a pleasant landlady. Will be back for more drinks when I'm not driving! I've only had beers and bar snacks here and really enjoy the canalside outdoor seating area... I've even been lucky enough to help a couple of narrow boats travelling through the lock-pound.As for the pub itself it's got friendly staff, a great selection of drinks, plenty of room inside and out and is very welcoming of all. I'll definitely call by next time I'm in Nottingham! Thank you.

Great value and delicious home cooked food right next to the canal. The pie is highly recommended. Friendly staff and owner, good beer selection and good value prices. A short walk from the castle and main shopping area.

Called by chance late in the evening as another pub had stopped serving food. They were happy to oblige here. Ordered Steak and Ale pie which was large, full of meat served with ample potions of gravy, chips etc. Local ale was very good. Landlady was friendly and chatty. Unfortunately I was only in town one night but I would definitely have returned if I had stayed longer
