The Angel.is a stalwart of Nottingham City centre. A great selection of beer, the menu looks ace and lovely staff. It's a great place for a pint.

Very mixed experience, the attitude and poor service from the first 3 staff members we experienced was so bad, we discussed leaving before we had managed to get a drink or ordered, and going for pizza across the road instead. Hate feeling as though the staff are doing you a favour to get you a drink, especially when you have waited nearly 30 minutes and asked repeatedly. Not a friendly or warm welcome for myself or any of our group who all arrived separately and shared the same experience.Change of staff serving us and the experience changed completely, she was helpful, warm and informed. The food was quite nice, and good value.

Really good food and fantastic vegan options. We went on a Wednesday afternoon where it was 2 for 1 on many dishes. The food was delicious and value for money was so good. Would highly recommend!

We pleasantly surprised. I hadn't been in the angel for many years since before it was a micro brew pub. Have to say the change is great. Nice atmosphere and plenty of space. had a pint of porter which was excellent
