"A pub at the heart of the community and proud of our heritage. A quick catch up over a drink with family and friends, or catching all of the live action with our great sports viewing. There is always something going on in your local pub with a great atmosphere and value for money."

Called in for breakfast with a work colleague and had two epics. They are more than worth the price. Excellent staff Rachael, Charlie and the chef Lil. The whole team work so well together Angelina Jolie (Kay) gave us a very warm welcome. Will definitely visit more often.

I’ve only ever been in the pub twice. Both times there’s been a drunken local in there that tells tales to bar staff if any one wins a pound out of one of the fruit machines. It’s a shame really as it’s a nice friendly estate pub otherwise

They gave me an actual gluten free menu to choose from I have Crohn's disease. It wasn't out through as gluten free so I got something completely different but why took it away and changed it with no fuss at all.

I Visited the peacock today to try the new menu. Staff were very friendly and knew about the new changes to menu and recommended the new 12oz steak. The steak was delicious and well presented. On arrival at the bar there was a large variety of different drinks to choose from. I will definately be returning.
